That sounds like a good improvement. Do you know if there are rca pre-outs included or if there is a LOC? I would like to connect a couple amps and include a subwoofer. Not sure if that is feasible with this unit...

Yes you request to join the group, that's why you can't see it. According to AK it has all 3 pre outs. Mine was shipped the other day, just waiting for the boat to come in. Planning on taking a bunch of pics

This thing looks interesting. Does anyone have a link to the installation instructions? Curious as to how bad the rats nest of wires this involves and just how difficult it is to install.

 

I feel your pain, and I looked near and far for any kind of discount code or group buys and only found the $24 discount. Also, I have a question for you (Berdine). I'm trying to track my Item from China. All I'm getting is this message for the past few days; "Item returned from Export Customs/Security".......Are you able to track your Item and get specific Information on its location. If so what's the website your using.

 

Here is another code I used, COMEBACK5 and ordered and selected the express/DHL shipping. I have yet to receive any tracking information. I ordered on Monday and the express/DHL is suppose to be 2-day, China to me.

 

Track-chinapost.com is what it came up as. First day or two nothing showed, then a few scans at customs then must be on a boat now.

I for some reason can’t request to join that damn TundraCrew group. Well I got into the “family OT” group but can’t get into the classifieds... Good grief.

 

I dont see any RCA preouts in that picture :/. All im waiting on to order this is to find out if it supports aftermarket amps / outputs. I cant get any response from them, so Im stuck until you post the pictures of the new one you get @AK-in-MI!!

Does anybody know if this works for the 2018? Is the 2018 the same as all 2014-2017?

 

Should work, I doubt they changed any of the wiring. Quick way to check would be to go to Crutchfield and view the aftermarket wiring harnesses for the 2017 and 2018. If the part numbers match, you should be good.

 

I was thinking the same thing unfortunately they don’t have the 2018 listed yet. The maestro harness is the same on the idatalink website so that may be the case.

 

Yep should be a good indicator. I have a maestro currently and if their harness is the same, you should be good go to

 

You could always live chat someone at crutchfield and ask them though. They will probably know the answer.

 

That’s good to hear! Also, got in the FB group. Looks like they can possibly get it down to $450 maybe if they get 50 people committed. Looks like it’s $550 with 25 people. For $450 I am definitely in.
