Later today I will be taking the HU out to check a few things after I get the wife a new dishwasher, she will be going on strike soon.
AK I like the new theme can you still use it for heating and cooling the seats.

You have to use the one from the Phoenix Android HU dropbox. I installed from the playstore and had same issue. if you watch the video a few pages back from youtube, he provides a link to that dropbox.

I attempted to retrieve the Developer Options password from the seller but they don't disclose that info to the consumer even though the unit is rightfully ours. I understand the liability but they should disclose the warranty limitations that exclude Developer Options manipulation. I was just trying to see if it had the fast boot up option like some Android devices do. Maybe it' in the internet somewhere.

I don't think they can be hidden. I wish we had an option of auto hiding and bring them back up with a press of any hard buttons.

Anyone have a similar setup from an audio perspective and if so what were your settings, I don’t think I am getting full frequencies from the HU:

My setup is from the HU, all PnP using the Taco Tunes PnP harness to an AudioControl DSP that is attached to an AudioControl 4-Channel amp and an AudioControl mono sub amp. I have lost all sound through rear speakers and sub and unable to get it back.

The AudioControl has a USB interface that I have yet to interface with to check the signal, in the interim thought I would ask if anyone had a similar setup.

I tried to reset the HU from settings – rest and it did nothing. For my setup I assume the Amp Power needs to be on/enabled, but I am unable to toggle that setting…

    Thanks

@guyp2k I just installed my HU lastnite and I have 2 12" subs and the amp with separate bass control and they are all working fine I was concerned that they wouldn't work at first I couldn't hear anything from subs but once I adjusted the eq I noticed the subs were on

Yea, I enabled DSP for more control and I set that to 0/Flat. Wonder if that is the issue, all I need is a full signal to the AudioControl DSP and controlled from there...

What did you set the EQ to and did you enable DSP under advanced setting. Another issue bothering me, don't know where I may have enabled, every time a track changes, title and album name drop down from the top center, drives me crazy. Is that something specific to car launcher? Will uninstall and see if that is the issue.

Well I have good news, I don't have to do dishes anymore, $750 bucks down the drain. The bad news is I can't get my front speakers to fade out and the rears to increase. But more good news.

I put it back together and started messing with the sub adjustments. Did no good and made me think something in the wiring crossed/wrong or the unit only uses 2 channels.

20171206_211219.jpg One thing that i found out on the AMP INFO adjustments is that if you crank the Cur Vol up to 62 the system comes alive big time (woke the wife up). Never expected that! I could not turn the Volume past 20 and it was clear and not distorted but very loud.

You download the update to thumb drive. Plugn it into the unit.. Go to the file manager, find the file copy it and paste it on the unit hard drive. It should recognize it after a reboot. You can also try just plugging the thumb drive in and once it boots up it might recognize the file from it am automatically prompt you to update. But I had the best luck of putting it on then unit itself. Once you update it delete the file or the unit will keep asking to update each time you boot up.

Did you save it to the root drive or just any folder will work? And when you guys reboot...do you mean turn the ignition on and off or power off and on the device?
