I must have one of the lucky ones my was in pristine condition install was easy . Everything works without bugs. I feel like if I don't like it I will put the oem back in no problem . 550 was a small investment to try this unit out.

Just curious, did you or anyone else figure out how to fix the temp issues? Sorry if I missed it...

I have been in contact with the manufacturer about the temp issue. They have sent me a firmware update and they have been great with trying to figure out the problem. We are working on it so hopefuly it will be resolved soon.

I am also wondering what it upgraded as well. I am curious how their update support is going to be. If at all. Some Android products are notorious for slow or non-existent upgrades. Thanks.

Do you have limited jbl premium by chance? Mind taking pics of all your settings for me and posting it? I really need to figure this out. Kids are freezing in the back of the tundra.

Yeah I did that. So I had the temps and function of the auto climate control fine. However I didn’t have the heated seats option showing and it defaulted to have them on at full blast. So I was getting swamp ass trying to figure that out. Then I got the seats working but now I’m stuck with no temp control and weird temp settings with the knob. It’s really finicky...

If you go into advanced setting. Type 8861 then scroll down to install the seat heating 20171113_200800.jpg 20171113_200800.jpg

I did that yesterday and got the heated seats but somehow did something to get the weird auto climate/temperature adjust glitch. Would you mind taking pics of all the settings?

I'm going to assume because it's Andoid OS, it will be an APK and all you would have to do is download the file. Move it to a USB thumb drive. Plug thumb drive into HU. Open thumb drive with file explorer. Open APK and install. Or an easier route would be to download that file directly on the HU using a browser app on the HU. Then locate the file with file explorer and install it. I'm sure you already know you'll need to connect your vehicles HU to a hotspot created by your phone for data or if you're close enough to your homes wifi network, you can connect to that and use it to download the file.

Edit: just saw this from the link provided.

    5cea2e4e7af01cca1502e4308e143587_7cb05d4b0c7e7060993474b745c157c37c2e7f4f.jpg

Ooorrrr...you can just go to the Android Play Store on the HU and download the North American version. To be honest, I would use Google Maps as the default navigation because you would get faster updates to road changes and POI's.

The reviews for iGo Navigation aren't very good. You still have to pay for the maps.

You can download an area to your device for offline use on Google Maps. It's free. Sat view will also be helpful.

He starts talking about it at 2:09.

    https://youtu.be/1KmQeyq0BSE

Here's a sample of the offline map I downloaded with topography in Google Maps.
