    Smartest sentence.

If you applied your wage to the time ford guys spend in the dealer, they aren’t saving anything in overall costs

Based on these numbers, it is a better financial decision to just throw a hundred dollar bill out the window of your Tundra on the highway once a month than buy a Ford, Ram, or GMC.

All I want is Mike Sweers to rob the Lexus division and come up with better platinum trim, I think this will cover everything within the trim level that I'd want.

This is my first Tundra so i might be a little off base here, but i certainly could use a little less 21'st century technology, and lots more cup-holders! But i could be wrong. :monocle:

When i think redneck Yukon and Newfoundland isnt what comes to mind. I think of central Ontario and the Prairies. That description for the most part seems to stop when you hit the Rocky Mountains in Canmore and BC. Some kind of correlation between not being a redneck and skiing. :monocle:

That is just from Edmunds comparison site. I just put in the high-end comparable 4x4 vehicles from each manufacturer for an apples to apples comparison. Something the "professional" reviewers never do. It is total B.S. when they give the typical "Tundra lags behind the competitors" , or "needs updated features" or "better fuel economy. Hey, I would love those things in my Tundra, but not at a cost of ending up with something like one of the competitors.

Don't care if it is the "oldest" model on the market. I've heard "outdated powertrain". Really... how about oldest powertrain, but still makes the most sense with a 5.7 liter mated to 4.30 rear axle.

I don't know about the original letter, but some improvements would be for the Pros and TRD off Rd, should have rear lockers, maybe some form of crawl control, power outlet in the bed. You know, off-road stuff. Also, the pro could have more room in the wheel wells for bigger tires from the get go.

While I love all barbecue and appreciate Memphis dry style rub on ribs, barbecue is the southeast means one thing - slow and low smoked pulled pork, not that crazy competition stuff that they do in 5 hours on TV, not ribs, not brisket. etc. We are talking 225F with steady hardwood smoke for ~18 hours to get to an internal temp of 201-203F. Then pulled apart by your fingers it is so tender. It requires no sauce, but a light vinegar based finishing sauce is acceptable. That is barbecue Georgia and the South Carolina Midlands, the best way!
