Decided to pull the trigger and upgrade fem my Havoc HS2 Hoop steps the AMP powersteps. Has anyone had issues with their lights? Should I consider repacing them with something better? Screenshot_20190209-153713_Google.jpg

That's great to know. Thought I had read on one of the forums that some were dissatisfied with them.

I have LUX rock lights on mine, I love how they are magnetic, which makes it super easy to mount and remount if needed!

I installed the LUX lights as well. Not even close in comparing quality. The lights that come with the steps are very cheap. The LUX lights are sealed acrylic magnetic mounted lights that are very bright.

The AMP lights are real cheap, almost a blue instead of white. I had problems with 3 of the lights on my super duty, so I never gave them a chance on my Tundra and changed them out to a set of rock lights.

Alright, i might be crazy, but anyone ever consider connecting a set of RGB lights with a controller in the kick panel, and run the lights out through the gromet, and be able to select the color that will illuminate when you open the door.

    Would this even work?

Thinking about it, I assume the wires connected in the kick panel control the activation of the board and light. So if you wired the red and black wires for the lights inside the cab, the doors opening would activate the lights. Yes??? No???

I used lights from @mattgecko they are excellent so far.

Your logic on the wiring makes sence.
