I am thinking of replacing my OEM step lights with these!

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ABPGAUC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A1QYAP1MVBSMHK&psc=1

Do I just cut the wires on the oem led step lights at the base of the light and then splice that wire in with the new rock light wires!

Any tips or better LED's please advise and thanks for input!

I had placed this in another thread but its taking off already, sorry for double post, ADMIN!

That should work just fine. I will be changing mine out soon too. Growing tired of the light blue LEDs the kit came with.

You can get the heat shrink at Home Depot, Ace Hardware or Lowes. You can get the shrink tube in pieces or buy a set for future use.
