I use ammoseek, but mainly buy from SG Ammo as they seem to always have PPU, which is most of my ammo other than hornady.

Hornady is a great company. Their SST was their 'long range bullet' but it's great for hunting too as it has somewhat explosive fragmentation, but also a run around it about 2/3 of the way down that makes it function like a nosler partition, enabling deep penetration. So for large game, a heart/lung shot is a guaranteed kill. That translates shooting into pie plate accuracy being acceptable.

Now I use their ELD-X and wife sticks to her 'red daggers of death', the SSTs as they're deer droppers.

I walked into Academy Sports this morning and they just put out a bunch of ammo. No limits but I decided to save some for other people. Bought 2 of these Winchester 500 packs for $99 or .20/round. Considering the times, that was pretty good. They put out 20 of these boxes and in about 10 minutes 8 were picked up by people. Also picked some up in .380

I remember those days....now I need to get my 03 FFL to get around this and have ammo shipped to my house. Will begin the process soon. Another great reason to leave this shithole.

Tell me about it. The other way is to order online and have it shipped to an FFL near me which i guess its not too terrible but I still shouldnt have to do that.

Ammoseek if you don't use it, you should. At a minimum compare prices online when you go in a store. I haven't seen anywhere in person that's as cheap as whatever ammoseek pulls up, and you can filter by brass and new casings or whatever you want. 9mm is around $.30/Rd, .223 is $.35/Rd, .300blk is $.75/Rd

Ammo prices are falling! Cheap shit 9mm is under $.30/rd. I just bought 1000rds of new brass 9mm for $.31/rd and bought 2000rds of .22LR @ $.08/rd. Less than $500 for 3000rds shipped ain't bad.

Haven't bought ammo in years. Still shoot thousands per year, easily. Try to maintain 6k or more a year when training with the EDC.

Back when people were like, bro you buying 10k rounds at a time, why? That's stupid. And here we are....good luck with that pricing and trying to get scraps.
