I think that tab on the 2005+ would use the existing forward hole on the 2000-2004 models.

I used this harness. Should be good as is but I replaced the main 12v current carrying wires (red, white and grounds) to 12 awg since I'm running 100W Osram halogens. It comes with ceramic plugs.

Ah, the blue abberation line at the top is actually quite visible once you get past 3-4ft, I see. Meh.

Still visible, and unfortunately came with the same style reflector which I assume will fail sooner with the higher wattage.

Did you notice an upgrade in light output while using the upgraded harness with LEDs?

Not sure. I swapped it in when I was still tinkering with halogens. Did the harness and the high output Hellas at the same time. Was very happy with that setup

I probably should've asked this question in https://www.tundras.com/threads/mini-projector-headlight-question.137321/ thread, but this one has been actvie. I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my headlights, do i have the leds/bulbs installed upside down? I have the assembly adjusted by the screw slot all the way as far as it can go (as seen in attached picture) I don't see the cutoff line, or even any sign of it anywhere. Looks like this could be it on the bottom, but it's not blue/purple at all. Also, as seen in pictures--these lights are hitting over this fence and on the tree way above, when I moved the truck from my parking spot to this fence, I noticed the lights are hitting windows on town houses 3 stories high. (I haven't been driving at night at all fyi, until I figure this out). The thread I posted above mentions lights that have a set screw, or a torx screw that people had to adjust but my model doesn't as far as I can tell. Shifty mentioned just rotating the bulb in his case. Currently installed harness side facing down as seen in last picture. Hopefully I'm not making this more difficult than it ought to be as I tend to do.

Those bulbs are definitely not oriented correctly in the housing. rotate until the appropriate pattern emerges, Surprised such a terrible looking pattern could be achieved with a primary projector bulb to be honest.

Thanks, I'll try doing that but I could've sworn I just put them in the assembly the same exact way I saw them out of the box. Also I lied, just looked at my pictures of them and they do have that same torx screw (2 actually)

I don't see the projector housing on that one? Regular LED bulbs will be trash in these housings.

Yeah it has the mini projector lens. they're just colight led mini projectors. This was taken when I was replacing a burnt bulb. Here's a picture of it assembled in

Not sure if it helps, and I swear I posted this helpful tidbit earlier, but the ideal position I found is with the open end facing down. Granted, my '06 housings are different than your '02, but the beam should still throw correctly if the open-end is facing downward. I found using the reference lines inside the bowl-shaped reflector were almost dead-on the correct ones to follow. Hopefully this image shows exactly that: Open side facing downward, and the cutoff of the half-dome reflector is sitting perfectly inline with the mold line in the reflector bowl. Can't remember if that's a reflector so much as it is a shroud to block light from blasting upward but w/e.

Yeah that's how I have mine too. Hard to tell from my picture which way is up or down, but you can see the open end part reflected in the bottom of the reflector bowl. I'll have to go take a closer look, but and rotate it to see what happens. But I'm kinda thinking they are pointed up too high and i need to adjust one of those torx screws like others said they did.

Possibly? Almost looks like part of a cutoff line over here. One way to tell would be to get right up on that fence. The cutoff will ultimately show. Just your earlier picture from top-down made it look like it's amed high and more than 45° out of whack. I think that's top down. My bulb is virtually parallel to the ground from the socket to the tip. Is yours not?

Yeah its parallel too, I'll try a bunch of different things when I can get back to it. Starting with rotating it, cant get any closer to the fence and thats probably the best spot I can find to do this. If rotating doesn't do anything I'm going to mess with that torx screw

I'd never buy somewhere there was an HOA. I don't need anyone to tell me what I can or can't do with my house, beyond city gov't.

Got a link for the one you bought?

Or if anyone has the link?

All of the Amazon links I have found (here and in the video description) are all broken.

The ones you linked on eBay which were were $40-something with +$40 shipping reverted back to free shipping in the last 24-48 hours, but at ~$50/pair.
