Wasn't planning on black but I found some wheels I like that come in black and gray. The gray was to light, seemed like the the factory aluminum wheel color. Happy with black.

I lean more towards gray or bronze just because they're less popular now.

I believe matte black and matte gunmetal are the only options as of now. I didn't ask if bronze would be released. He may have some available. I'll list his contact below.

Did you go with a gloss finish or more of a flat/matte? I'm about to get these same wheels powder coated and am kind of in between gloss and satin.

I certainly do not like the black wheels that are everywhere. I'm actually not the greatest fan of black trucks either, BUT you have the finest looking black truck I can recall having seen in a long time, if ever. It is as tight as it can get, very bold and proud looking, not unlike a Friesian in a world of reclamated Mustangs. And where I refer to my 1st gen as a female, yours is without question the Harem Master among the many mares. Please don't take offense young lady for it is a beautiful truck, strikingly so, and I can't help but see it as the Stallion that it is. As it stands now, it is my favorite in a sea of favorites.:hattip:

I'm a classic 5 spoke chrome wheel guy. Perhaps grey like my X-Runner had but never black. Just don't do it. :)

Not quite hate, but a moderately strong dislike, for black rims. Not really huge on shiny chrome, though I like it. What I really like are nicely polished aluminum alloy rims. Now having said that, Pinay's black beauty has an absolutely gorgeous set of rims, which complements the black look very tastefully, IMHO, although generally far darker than I would normally choose. [Add in her little demon on the front grill and you now have the gold standard most dream about but never achieve.] My Little Demon...:rockband:

@Pinay Ah, if I were only 35 years younger... Your pleasure in hearing the truth is equal to my pleasure at the lighthearted hint of the possibility of such a rendezvous that will never happen for all the right reasons. You brought a smile to this old man, the Cheshire cat smile of a fresh young man long forgotten, reminding me of days past when a young woman could quicken my pulse with a smile. Thank you, Monet, for making my day and dreams all the more precious. Steven.

That is true about the Corvette Forum I have been there for 13 years and seems if your 50ish and 60ish you may lean towards chrome. I am in that range and I am a chrome guy. Winters and salt tend to take a toll on chrome and I'm done switching summer and winter wheels and tires. Hey what ever floats your boat is cool. Just sold my Vette 2 weeks ago and am now in a 2020 Tundra limited with TRD Off Road Package. Not in love with the factory wheels but they are growing on me.. Absolutely love the truck period.

I am in the 50ish and 60ish age group, and I've never been a fan of chrome wheels like Cragars that were very popular back then. The lower maintenance the better for me, a hard coat finish that I don't have to mess with is ideal.

I liked the brushed aluminum modulars I had on my Broncos but not the shiny polished ones I had on a couple of F150s

Chrome looks excellent with some colors. Love that truck of @Prostar 190

And @chphilo may have my favorite truck on the forum: love the silver sky with the chrome accents.

So, it all just depends--upon the color/color combination--and personal preference.

    For example, I prefer beer.

P.S. I love a blue truck with chrome rims too.

P.P.S. I am thinking about powder coating my rims quicksand ...
