Anyone know right off hand what amperage alternator would be OE on a 2005 Tundra 2wd 4.7 L Limited Edition crew cab ? I've seen 80 , 100 , 130 listed on various auto parts websites ?

Limited I would assume 130 but even without that you're not going to hurt anything oversizing.

Replaced the alternator , it is a 130amp and cost me ( at Autozone ) over $180 ! Could have gotten it cheaper at Rockauto but you had the hassle of returning the core and hoping the return of your money ( paid up front on the core ) comes back to you with no hassle . My life is basically " Murphy's Law " meaning there is always a hassle connected with whatever you're connected with !
