    The service dept has been really good, and I think the service guy feels my pain in that it's a new truck. The thing that has pissed me off more is that the place I bought it from hasn't called to see if it's been fixed or anything. They got my money, I guess they're good now!

    Just bitch a lot and they'll should comp you somehow after it's resolved. If they don't comp you then go up the chain and bitch some more.

    I think you issue is uncharacteristic for a Toyota but when your the number one vehicle sales in USA then you're bound to have a hiccup. Hope they get it sorted quickly. Hang in there.

    Call Toyota corporate and let them know how unsatisfying this is. Raise a bit of a stink, let them know that you have heard about others getting free extended warranties when things break down super early. Maybe you will just get that extended warranty for free. Worked for me when I had the cam tower leak. Took a couple of tries, but it was well worth it.

    I had a new F150 with the 351 H.O.. Holley double pumper and Eldrbrock intake. In the day it was something. I had a couple thousand miles on it and was headed from ranch to town to eat. Buddy said lets open this thing up. At about 90 it starts missing bad. I was like shit the dang thing blew up and we are stuck in the middle of no where. Buddy says pop the hood. Fortunately it was almost dark. He immediately noticed the wire on the distributor was loose. Plugged it back in and on our way. Some times it is something simple.

    My BMW caught on fire in my garage. Fought tooth and nail for them to pick up that bill and they made my wife sign a non-disclosure for the settlement since the car was in her name.

    Finally two years later they issue a recall, but only for the year after mine and newer even thought the 2006 and 2007 are identical except for the change in naming convention.
