The ones I have and the ones from AlphaRex’s website are designed from the Torcía tail lights. On the Torcía, they flared out more in order to be flush with the flame attachment piece.

I will be upgrading to the new AlphaRex Luxx tail lights to match the sequential turn signals on my headlights. And I’ll keep y’all posted when I do.

    edit: for clarity

Just grabbed a set of these, thanks for the link. Mine hyperflash though, did you have any issue with that? I also have a 2014.

Yeah, anytime you swap LEDs into the turn signals, the truck will think a light bulb is out.

I used a 6 ohm VLEDS resistor on each side and it solved the issue. When I also added front led turn signals, I had to get 3 ohm ones instead.

Have you had any issues with these tails so far? I was looking for some and the price is really good on these. Are the reverse lights LED?

No issues and they’ve held up well. You reuse your own reverse bulbs (which can be LED if you want).

Search the words “tundra latest version tail lights” on eBay. You’ll get the available options that cost less.

Update on my AlphaRex tail lights:

While I was pulling into a parking space the other day, a friendly LEO stopped behind me and said that my passenger side brake light is out...I told him that these are LED upgrades and only like 10-11 months old and we chatted about how LED's should last longer than incan. bulbs and he was nice about it and didn't give me any crap.

I got home and pulled the light to check and see if there were any connection issues and after bench testing it came to the conclusion that it indeed was the brake light circuit that had failed.

I called AlphaRex and got thru to customer service, I explained the situation and she told me that she would connect me to technical support to confirm my diagnosis and they would handle sending me a replacment.
I was transferred to TS and went on hold for a few minutes waiting for the next available agent and then the auto attendent said that TS was not available and I opted to leave a message with my details. I also while I was on their website at the same time sent them a detailed message as well.

No response... I called back and got thru to a TS person explained everything again. He took down my information (product SO# etc) and said he would call me right back with availability of replacment and tracking info.

2 days went by and I called back and it asked me to leave another message. I called back and went back in thru the CS cue and left a message explaing the problem and the non response and asked that the CS manager return my call. (that was last Monday 8/8).

Tuesday; Still no call back, so I called back and got a different person in TS... He couldn't find my case in the "system" so I had to repeat everything AGAIN. He told me a replacement unit is in stock and that they would send one out. I asked him for a tracking number and he assured me that once one was available they would email it to me.

    I got nothing.

So about a week into this I decided F AlphaRex and their shitty customer service and decided to find a replacement set of tail lights.

I will deal with them later (probably demand a refund) and their poor customer service.

I stumbled on to these guys and noticed they had some open box tails for sale. So I ordered the set.

These are full LED with sequential turn sigs. I think they look nicer than the AlphaRex and will see how these work out.

Update: I still don't have the replacement Alpharex tail light. It will be one month since i reported the issue on 09/04. Spoke to (lit up) the customer service person yesterday and they sent me shipping information. I have to say that I can't recommend anyone buying from Alpharex as their CS is horrific.

I will be selling my Alpharex tails and keeping the HRS tails.
