Hey Almaboy, have enjoyed watching your build. Have a couple of questions for you. First, now that we're getting some real snow how are you liking your Toyo C/Ts? I won't hit as much as you do being down here on the front range, but I'm looking for something that handles driving to work well, hitting the snow in the mountains and still has some AT to them.

Secondly, how have you liked your Black Rhino wheels? I like a couple of their wheels, but have been nervous about the 12 offset. Was planning on something more in the 25-30 range. But keep coming back to some of these and was interested in your experiences so far.

    The tires are the tits!

They handle very well in deeper snow and are really solid on hardpack and ice. They aren't snow tires for sure, but they are a VERY high quality tire that is just on the mudder side of an AT. Very little noise and do extremely well in all summer conditions. I have 20,000 miles on them and still 3/4 of an inch in tread left! I am going to put them back on in the summer if I don't sell them. They are 35s and I'm thinking of going to a 295/70/18 after winter, to match my STT Pro spare. My mind has been all over the place about what I'm going to do about tires and my thought was to go 295s to save $$ on the next set. The C/T's are entirely out of my budget, so I'm thinking of dropping sizes and doing a 5 tire rotation on STTs when I pull the newly purchased snow tires off. I dropped $1300 yesterday on dedicated snow tires but spent 30 minutes at the counter trying to make up my mind on which way to go.

If you're interested I'll make you a deal on the C/Ts and you can see if you want to go that route on the next round. They have 20,000 on them but have at least another 20,000 left, probably more. The only reason I did the snow tire yesterday was because I had the money and needed to make a quick decision. If I didn't do it I was looking at some other mods and was going to keep them on without hesitation.

As for the Black Rhinos....DO IT! Their quality is highly underrated and they are incredibly solid wheels. I've really abuse my truck and you can't see any chips or scratches. My recommendation is to go to RSG on Colfax and look at their wall. They install all the lifts and wheels at Groove Toyota on Broadway. I saw some of the dopest Black Rhinos on the show trucks a few weeks ago there. Again, I highly recommend

I'm open to talk anytime you're interested. Just shoot me a PM and I'll give you my number

By the way...thanks for the compliment. It's not what I'm shooting for (pleasing others), but it certainly feels great when someone compliments all the work that has gone into making it how I want it. I haven't done all of the big work on it but my wallet did some heavy lifting. I've done all the little stuff and have left suspension to guys that are better than me.....like @Thegr8punkin who did my leaf springs recently.

Oh yeah, don't be scared of the 12 offset. It's perfect!!

I just got my second set today, and ordered some S2 Pros as well!!!! The S2s are going on my A Pillar mounts (per Bailey's recomendation to be like him) and the second set of Squadrons (work/scene spread) are going on the back of my bed rack as reverse lighting. It'll be next weekend when it all goes together but you @MotoTundra and @dcsleeper408 are very much to blame for me dropping the cash!!

More to come on my lighting designs so stay tuned....it will be very similar to a combination of all of you guys

    @COMiamiFan
These bright lights annihilated the snowy whiteout conditions i encountered last night, and the fog this morning. They didnt make the snow go away, but they gave me MUCH more definition and distance to see the road conditions. They are exactly what i was looking for and cant recommend them to you enough. Go do the math, they are not much than the group buy fogs we purchased and worth 3x more.

Precisely, but Crack doesn't last quite as long, and you can't afford BD lights if you're buying that stuff

All has been installed. S2s are badass, but I don't have enough wire to reach the bed rack lights. They are mounted but not illuminated. I tagged you in my post on them....i thought. I should have it all buttoned up when I install my Switchpro

Look in to water proof clips 43dec914d6688e805d06a8e0b69ad46e_474a2d1e4d5a1b99326052013fec1cb015f0d371.jpg 7 bucks for 5? Might be your best bet. Or go to a junk yard and find some Camrys (1996-01) and five finger discounts a bunch of the plugs off of the electric fans behind the radiator. I think they are in more then the camrys but not totally sure on that

    Thanks Connor!
I am actually running these right now. They are just too bulky. With the lights I have on the rack I want a permanent solution. My idea is to run a mil spec connector in the bed so I can detach from there. I need a disconnect there because sometime I have the bed loaded for work and with the rack off I can put some bulky stuff in..

Because @dcsleeper408 is too impatient to wait for final products, I'll pop in what's been done so far with my new Baja Designs fire truck style lighting

Previous A Pillar lighting has been replaced with @Baja Designs S2 Pros wide cornering ambers. My purpose for this setup is due to the incredibly dark driving conditions I find myself in with a 5% tint. I'm more than excited with my new found visibility while turning.....and scoping rogue deer, elk, moose, or grocery getters with suicidal tendencies

    20171114_162718.jpg

    20171114_193749.jpg

Next, I installed more BD squadron sports though the work/scene lights were recommended, by Bailey, as "more usable light" for my intentions of a more lit reverse area, along with utilization around the campsite. I mounted them upside down for clearance, and to get the proper downward angle.
**DISCLAIMER: @dcsleeper408 was, again, impatient so I'm posting prior to wiring being connected, therefore output shots are still due once my creative edge has been unleashed :D

Why did you put the big ones in the rear and the little dinkies in the front? And do not say you like the big ones in the rear... Actually, don't say you like the little dinkies in the front neither. Gahhh... nevermind.

Good question, bad limitations you've placed on me....

I like the wide spread in the rear.

The frontal dinkies will ultimately be relocated once the most recent purchase has been installed.

Stay tuned for more wisdom and education as the coming installations happen :D
