What about Nitto Ridge Grapplers? I was at Discount Tire this morning and they had one on display. They don't have the 3 peak snowflake rating though.

Mine have been great on everything but wet roads - they don’t like to stop on wet asphalt. They also start to get considerably louder around 20-25k miles. I’m on my second set and will probably go for a third.

I never had a grip issue with the Ridge Grapplers but can attest - they get much louder with age. My 25k mile old Ridge Grapplers were louder than my Cooper SST Pros at 10k.

I'm planning to put them on my Volvo. Have their Quatrac 5 on my XC70 now, sold wife's XC60 with Quatrac Pro. Got rid of a dedicated winter tires set after just one New England winter on Quatracs.

    Vredestein makes great tires.

Zero side-to-side movement traction in snow and on gravel. Those are strictly asphalt "wannabe AT" tires.

^^^ My buddy hammers out my Volvo, so G015 can spin again and we could get back home.

They never saw more than 30 PSI on asphalt. On the pic above they were around 14. I think their pattern scales down badly for that tire size (27"), but I generally was not impressed with them. Replaced with KO2s, never been a problem. Well, besides unbearable highway noise.

33" General Grabber A/TX are quite decent in deep snow. Not very noisy on highway. They have it in P rating as well, at about stock Michelin LTX2 weight.

What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

^^^ me offroading lightly in snow.

    KO2 and ice???

For ice General Grabber A/TX can be studded (has factory stud holes), that would rise it above any competition.

Has anybody tried the Predator New Mutant X-AT tires? Their price is very reasonable from Wallyworld, but they are currently out of stock. :(
