I did search and saw two threads on suppressors (one for Texas made ones and another for pistols which was basically from 2020) but wanted to see if any interest from forum members on these “tools” I call them for all range of weapons. Mine were purchased years ago and now so many new ones have came into production. Looking at adding multi caliber one as the ones i have are specifically for certain calibers (.22lr, 223/5.56, 9mm & yes shotgun 12ga don’t laugh it actually works but you must have some arm strength as it’s not light or short).

I love suppressors! I have a handful, plus another handful in various stages of waiting. Also waiting on some Form 1s to go through after building my first a few months ago. I think suppressors are very cool and fun to use, and equally cool and fun to compare and look at mechanically. Sadly most suppressors are rather archaic in their design which turns me off from them, though the new "generation" of 3D printed suppressors is looking very cool and finally bringing some real innovation to an otherwise stagnant field--which is the main reason I've gotten hooked on Form 1s and trying my own ideas.

Well a cheap home printer isn't doing much :D but the new Huxwrx and Sig metal 3D printed ones are very cool. But those are using $100k+ printers, not a cheap Ender 3 from Amazon, though you could try it though it might explode rapidly haha

Yea those nice 3d printers are awesome. I have only one buddy that’s got the expensive one and only because he’s an engineer and uses it for work (has a small oilfield drilling company so uses it often), but it can print anything basically. His kid lost the back battery cover on of some expensive calculator for school and instead having to go buy another one he just printed a new cover for it. Same thing for some part for the fridge he needed. However, first thing he said when he showed me how it worked was “don’t even ask me to print some AR lower or gun parts for you”. He knows me well as I was already thinking of what to ask for!!
(Btw, funny you mentioned Huxwrx as I was looking at their FLOW 556k as a possible next purchase)

as a new member to the Suppressor family (Omega 300), nothing is worse than being at the range & the dude a couple tables down is shooting a 338 Lapua with a muzzle break.

    have some decency.

and if you can't hit the damn small gong @ 300yds...go home. or go back to the 100yd line a sight your shit in.

The flow 556k is awesome from the reviews. I'm waiting for them to come out with a 300 version. Suppressing a round that's not meant to be suppressed somewhat defeats the purpose imo, add to that that a 556 can isnt versatile like a 300 is. I have a OSS 762 and it's cool, though sound reduction doesn't seem to be it's strong suit so will be interesting how their new technology compares.

556 suppressors are more for taking the bite off the concussion and flash suppression more than noise reduction. The mini and k type are where it’s at for SBR’s, not much length added but make them much more tolerable especially doing CQB work indoors. I have a saker 556k on a 10.5 and a Surefire mini on a 12.5, without ear pro they are about the sound level of full size 9mm pistol. Having said that, it isn’t ear safe, but if you have to shoot in a hurry without ear pro it’s tolerable. If you like the flow through type, look at the new sig line of suppressors. The Saker K on this adds about 3.5”

I recently picked up this YHM resonator 2 .30 suppressor to go along with my .22 suppressor!

currently have a rugged obsidian .45 in nfa jail waiting on approval, did paper form last November, so hoping it’ll be soon!!

i see another .22 can in my future so I can have a dedicated one for my m&p 15-22

My first is still in jail. It's a Gemtech Integra 15-22. Submitted in Nov. I wish they would do them in the order received.

It's annoying to wait this long. I got a SBR form 1 back in 20 days, and a DD form 1 in 90.
I need to decide on a can for my 10.5" 5.56

Isn’t it so nice having so many choices? Of course these are just a few. Back in the day maybe 3 suppressor manufactures to pick from in total.

Wife didn't like the previous gargantuan Phoenix suppressor for her MkIV, today we got in a Deadair replacement. First testing I'm not sure which is quieter, both sound like pellet guns, which is amazing considering there's probably a 3x volume difference going on!

That is one huge 22 suppressor, I’m sure the DA handles much better.

The Deadair Mask is the best sounding 22 suppressor in my opinion.

I got one from area 1 sports

    gonna try it out today.

Anything to cool the darn can off quicker.

I've wanted to build a water jacketed suppressor, I think that'd be a fun experiment. When it gets heat soaked just uncork it and pour fresh water into the chamber. Kind of like some old machine guns.

I've just begun doing my research about suppressors because I'm finally in a position where I can make it a reality. Any advice on where to start my reading and learning? I'm wanting one for a predator hunting rifle in .22-250
