ha ha if you only knew. almost every project I somehow manage to sabotage myself just a little bit

I decided I’m gonna take on the timing belt job. Already ordered the parts recommended in the sticky thread.

the only thing I haven’t done on other cars is actually pulled the old timing belt and put the new one on

my only reservation is the self sabotage dragging out the timeframe

 

Following up to say that I’m returning the product.

I finally did get it installed correctly, however, it is very inconsistent and locking and unlocking the tailgate, which makes it a liability since you can’t trust that it is locked without checking it

that was a waste of two days minimum I could’ve been doing something productive,

 

Looks like I will be pursuing this angle

 

Not that I necessarily wanted you to find anymore, I felt as mentioned earlier that was one that should have blown given what circuits were out.
