Cleaned the boat up today. She's ready for the water.

Love the pontoon cleaner. Spray on, rinse off.

Nothing yet except for some LED interior & exterior bulbs.
I went to the local laundromat to wash the canvas for our pontoon today as it's way too big for our washing machine, took the winter cover and its supports off, and got the boat more or less ready to go in. Going to treat the canvas tomorrow and the one battery that wasn't quite fully charged should be by then. Want to get it in it's slip before the holiday weekend. I clean the pontoons every couple of years as they just get dirty again after a month or two.

Once that's out the way I've got to get my 24 Superboat ready for the water. That's the one I'm excited about, the pontoon is to keep the wife happy.

Downsizing to this 16ft key largo with a 50 horse merc. Easier to put in at the ramp, less money on fuel, less washing, and less to maintain. Big enough to hit the gulf on a nice day for stone crabbing and inshore fishing. Small enough for backwater fishing. I'd like to do some travelling with it too so the smaller boat will be easier.

Rewired most of the boat. New switch panel and fuse box. New speakers, radio, chartplotter, led lights, transom lights, thru hulls, hoses, and pumps. Just have to go through the motor now. I think the stator is taking a dump.

Need to fix the other 3 I have and get rid of 'em lol.

So... I did something... Hull is in good shape needs all wood stuff replaced including the transom redone. Got a 50 horse Yamaha for it when the time comes....

Paid 200 bucks for it from a neighbor.

My Smokercraft 165LE with 90 hp Mercury. More fishing boat, but very suitable for skiing and watertoys.
At a campground dock on a cool fall day at Lake Vermilion in northern MN.

I was today years old when I learned that folks are putting a 500R on a bass boat.

    God Bless America!

Picked up this 1 yr old 22’ party barge with a Merc 90 on it 3 years ago cheap from a guy who got divorced and wanted a Harley instead. She’ll do 26mph with just me, a 1/4 tank of gas and the Bimini down on smooth water. Any of those variables change, and she’s a 20mph lake booze cruiser. Just what we wanted. Party barges are great. Just a floating patio for you and your friends. Find a cove, anchor up, float and enjoy some music and a beer. Dogs like it too. We keep it in a slip, cause the boat ramp is for heathens. At least it’s full of people that act like heathens, with their first boat ever, launching and loading for the first time, and looking for confrontation. Pass.
