Have you received a notification that your item has shipped out? Amazon’s internal progress tracker means nothing. This is an actual brick and mortar store. Every order gets reviewed before it’s actually shipped out.

 

I don’t see how so many of you expected all of the shocks ordered over the weekend to be shipped by noon on Monday, especially when it wasn’t a Prime sale and you aren’t estimated to receive the package for another week.

It’s heresay from the tundra page on FB. Nobody has received any confirmation of a shipped product either.

 

I am more curios really, if others are getting cancellations it is only a matter of time before I do. The company is in Florida, so hopefully we start seeing some traction, either shipping, or cancellations. I agree that Amazon tracking means nothing, I have had items delivery date come and go then get a cancellation and refund. No matter the outcome, I need new shocks, mine are at 180,000 and feeling their age. They aren't leaking yet so I might have some time, this would be a nice stop gap before getting something better. I still need to decide what I want my truck to do.

The only way to prevent everyone from getting screwed is for EVERYONE that ordered publicly state in this forum that they will do the following if the price is not honored:

1. Leave negative reviews on the vendor website and on Amazon (4wheelonline).

2. Contact the FTC and your Attorney General's office.

3. Report them to the BBB

The price difference is not drastic enough for them to say it was a mistake. There was no misplaced decimal or comma. Usually in these instances where companies cancel orders it's for something like $35 for a $500 TV. $117 is in the ballpark for a clearance or closing sale price.

Also...their BBB profile is a hell hole. Don't count on them honoring this.

 

I think what happened was they marked the set down but meant to mark a single front 5100 down. Just looked and they have a purchase option for a single 5100 on Amazon:

 

$117 is not even cost for front and rears. I would agree it was a clearance or closing if these were discontinued items or old stock. But that’s not the case. It was an obvious price mistake.

 

I think all of this is way overkill, except maybe leaving negative reviews on their vendor page, which even then is probably not worth it. This is almost certainly an error, so doing #2 & 3 is just a waste of time.

 

You joined here just to tell us to attack a company if they don't honor this price?

 

I could not do this, in good conscience, if the order doesn’t go through. I have no problem trying for a set, for whatever reason they were listed at the low price- but if it turns out to be an error and doesn’t go through, so be it. Just one of those “too good to be true” things and no biggy! If the companies allow it....sweet!

 

Seems like a perfectly normal reaction to me. I mean I know I've never made a mistake in my life so I expect others to live up to my standards too.

 

No no not at all. I was saying by noon or one today I figured the company would know what happened and start cancelling orders if they were going to.

I honestly think they'll honor the price but it'll take God knows how long for us to all actually get them.

 

The suspense is killing me...

 

I just called the seller and told them that everyone understands this was a mistake and everyone is fine with cancelling the orders.

I have a feeling there will be some bumps along this road.... Maybe a few "whoops" along the way...


Amazon has the right to not honor a price error, as they should. I feel this was an error, but I ordered just in case. I fully expect my order, all of our orders to be cancelled, and I won't be upset about it.

No it doesn't. That won't say shipped until it's been notified by seller as shipping.
