Just lifted my 2014 sequoia and rear toe is way off. In the front I installed fox adjustable coilovers from a tundra and Tuff country UCAs. The front aligned fine. In the rear I installed 2 inch lift spring spacers. I took it to my local alignment shop, who I think is pretty competent, and in the rear he maxed out the toe adjustment and it still + 0.8 inch toe on the passenger side and + 1.2 inch toe on drivers side. Did other people with sequoias have this problem? Anyone know of possible solutions?

Someone here will be able to help out.

I can snag my alignment numbers in the morning, I am running 2” lift coils in the rear and don’t have any issues, but I don’t have my alignment numbers memorized either.

I just took a good look at my sequoia and think the alignment shop might have screwed up. I could visibly see excessive negative camber. I crawled under and looked. It looks to me like if the cam bolt was adjusted to move the camber more positive it would also bring the toe in. I made an appointment with another shop to get a second opinion but they can't get to it until Monday.IMG_20200317_171128414_HDR.jpg

That looks terrible... definitely not right. I would make the shop re-do it one time while your waiting for the Monday appointment.

Yikes. Not sure how they let it leave the shop looking like that...

I have basically 3" rear lift with the 2.5" Dobinsons, and mine is dead on perfect in the rear. do you have Off Road Warehouse in your area, they took care of me. you should be able to get this done...

as a sanity check, i took a couple pics for reference. apologies for the lighting

Just for fun, and since my current "alignment" is pretty much worthless, I maxed out the rear camber adjustment to maximum positive camber. Set it back on the ground and drove back and forth a couple of times to settle out. I didn't touch the toe adjustment. It now has visible positive camber (duh) and is visibly toed in. So I'm calling it - the alignment shop effed up. I'll post next week after the other alignment shop has looked at it. Thanks for all the replies.

Dobinsons and custom rear shocks were next on my list. What are you running for rear shocks?

Oops, just realized who you are. I've read your build thread many times. Was thinking I'd duplicate your rear suspension.

So the alignment shop that was going to work on my sequoia on Monday called yesterday and said they are closed for the foreseeable future due to Corona virus. So I dug around and found the name of the shop that aligned my 2500 Silverado a few years ago. Called them up and they basically said come on by when ever. Took it in today, told them the whole story, the tech aligned it no problem. He even let come down into the pit and showed me the numbers. I'm happy it fixed and right but, also bummed that now I have no confidence in the only alignment shop that's near me. Thanks all for the replies.

Question for ya my man, I’m currently running 2” spacer out back with Bilsteins. Worth the effort and $ in your opinion to swap to dobinsons 2.5’s and a custom shock?

Current ride height with 2” spacer.
If it was 3”, I could also raise the coilovers to match. Worth it?

Ridge grapplers are my favorite tires ever on the sequoia. Quiet, grippy, and tread life is amazing. i had BFG KO2's a while back and only got 12k miles out of them, and they got so loud toward the end there, but never again.

these Nittos are the only ones i'll buy now

Dobinson's ride so good, for the price, yes, i think they are worth it vs spacer lift. i would NEVER put a spacer on my suspension TBH.

Back when I lifted mine, the spacer was the only thing available, dobinsons didn’t have anything yet

    I have a similar problem with 1.75" Dobinsons & Bilstein 5100s.

Top was Firestone "alignment" second was from Big 0 Tire.

Any ideas to get it to adjust?
