hi everyone just wondering if I can get some help. I’ve got a 23 tundra off-road, I had the 3 inch Trd lift installed at the dealership. I have had two different dealers and a private shop, do alignments on my truck and no one seems to be able to get it right. My steering wheel is cocked to the left in order for me to go straight down the road. If I try to straighten the steering wheel, it goes hard to the right. if I let go of the steering wheel, it also pulls to the right. The dealership and the private shop said that my driver side outer tie rod was maxed out. The second dealership said they had to align my rack and pinion. I just got it back. There has been no change. Can anyone give me any ideas with the Trd lift. I’m getting pretty discouraged at this truck. Thank you

I dont know much about 3rd gen lifts but, How do you max out a tie-rod on a 3" lift? Also, isn't the steering on the 3rd gen electronic? Regardless, you paid the dealer to install a lift, they should fix the issue or refund. That's the way I see it. Geez , the world is becoming a bunch of people that dont want to do shit. This is why I am soooo glad I can do mechanics on my own truck. Sorry I can't be of much help but I dont see it being any different than a 3" lift on a 2nd gen. I have do 4 of my truck already and never an issue.

so with the Trd lift there is a sleeve that goes over part of the threaded section on the outer tie rod and it is running into that. I’m not sure what the deal is. I’m gonna try and take it back to the dealer, but I don’t know if they can figure it out since I had it for most of the day working on it.

Here is the spec sheet they gave me, I’m running 35x12.50x17 tires.

Don’t be discouraged at the truck. The useless people that you paid to perform the job are the culprit.
If you are located in the NE area ? I can send you the shop that did mine. This is what they should be able to get with that set up easy. IMG_0498.jpg

Thank you for that, prior to seeing your post Brian from Westcott designs reached out to me and sent me their schematic which seemed to work. Truck is all good again, I’ll just have to keep an eye on tire wear to make sure it really worked.
