My trucks alarm went off twice today for not reason. The truck is parked right under a camera and there was not any cars or people near it at the time. Has anyone else had this issue? It's not too bad at work but my neighbors at home would not be amused.

I had this happen to me when I first bought the truck. But it was more like every 10 to 15 minutes, until I finally unplugged the battery. Finally figured out, that I left one of the map lights on. One of the stupidest features I’ve ever ran into on a truck. Why not just have a time out on the light, not keep sounding the alarm until the battery dies LOL.

I'll have to check my lights. I hardly ever use them but I did this weekend.

    Too many, but not enough....
my 20 year old ford ranger had this feature and it was amazing. Never had a dead battery. 15 minutes and it turns off no matter what.

Well, all of the lights were off. The only possibilities that I can think of are the hood switch from driving through torrential rain yesterday. Or, someone grabbed my FOB code and is testing it before stealing my truck.

Pull ignition fuse for a few days, they won't steal it then.
