My 2012 Tundra's airbag light on the dash intermittently turns on and won't go off until I turn off the truck and turn it back on again. This will be the light inside to gauges, not under the radio. Truck is still under the factory warranty and I already have an appointment to get it looked at. This only happens maybe once every 15 start ups. Guys at work both have 1st generation tundras and both of them just received an airbag recall. Now I understand my 2012 and their 1st gen's are totally different trucks. However, I was wondering what I could expect when I take the truck to dealership this Tuesday. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!

yep bank account is running low from it..
Could be a bad sensor causing the light to come on. Could be a bad air bag module going out and or bad firmware. As for the clock spring any is not ruled out.

It's under factory warranty so no worries to you..

As for the 1st gen guys like me it was the inflator that caused the recalls but I think now it got expand to side air bags I don't have.
