I am a new member. I’m wanting to buy a first Generation tundra. I want to know from you owners out there if a 04 05 06 tundra any model comes with curtain airbags? Also, what I’m wanting to buy is a crew cab. Is there some designation in the model that would confirm curtain airbags?

Man, I hope this isn't a troll attempt from a formerly departed friend

Welcome. There's no such thing as a "crew cab" in the 1st gen, only regular cab / access cab / double cab, or RC / AC / DC to keep it simple on the forums. Double cab are the only ones equipped with side curtain airbags. If the truck has an RSCA button in the dash where the dimmer knob is, left of the steering wheel, it has side curtain airbags. Absence of the button is an indication the truck you've chosen isn't equipped with side curtain airbags.

Airbags should be your least concern.
    • Frame rust should be your #1 concern.
    • Hard proof (legit receipt/service record) of when the timing belt was done last is your #2 concern, recommended interval is every 9 years OR 90k miles, whichever comes first.
    • Installing OEM lower balljoints, even if they were recently replaced, should be your #3 concern (unless you have proof they were replaced with OEM, specifically, and this is NOT a joke, it's serious shit, OEM only on that specific part).

Do yourself a favor. Take some time to read the first two replies in the following thread before you think about buying, and ask questions if needed over in the 1st gen subforum:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

Pic examples of the RSCA button in 1st gens (Tundra, Sequoia) you're looking for, and a couple examples of 1st gen dashes without RSCA:
