Just finished changing my air induction pump and hooked neg battery cable on, and pump continuously runs tried to start and it would run really low idle and conk out Help please disconnected battery and tried again and the pump I could hear running continuously without even trying to start the truck
I bought all Toyota parts except for the air pump I bought from Dorman ( I’m thinking that was a big mistake)

If still around, my suggestion(as a green horn on SAIS) would be to unplug the gray plug A33 by the fuse boxes underhood that feeds the air pump. If check engine light is on, see what the codes are and report back....possibly P2445 Pump Stuck On.
