Air Horn install

    Just thought I would share some pics from my recent air horn install. I mounted the horn to the underside of the grill. I had to drop my factory horns down and mount them to brackets to allow room for the horn and compressor.20191024_184924.jpg

    The brackets were an L bracket from Lowe's I cut in half and painted. The relay that came with the horn was not working so I got another one from AutoZone.

    Interesting. I really want to do this, but I want like a Viking horn or something old school like that. Something that, when you hear it, you chug a beer, slam the mug against the wall, and carry your wife to the bedroom.

    That's all I'm asking for ...

    Working great so far I've just been randomly using it. I'm still waiting to use it when someone won't stay in their lane or when the light turns green and someone is on their phone. Sounds like a big rig I'm really happy with it.

    We just installed a Hornblasters setup in a Ram 2500 at work. It's absurdly loud....I got an instant headache when we hit the switch. This is more manageable.
