My vents will blow a small amount of air out of the dash vents when the floor option is selected (on high heat fan setting). It's not a large amount nor a small amount. Just enough to feel it on my hands while they're on the wheel. Is this normal?

Truck is still under warranty and I can take it in but wanted to know if it's normal and by taking it in would be a waste of my time.

When recirculating is off, I think air always comes thru the dash vents. Even when everything's turned off.

I get the same thing brother. I thought I was trippin balls because my hands were feeling cold, but I had hot air blowing in my cab!

I don't like that Toyota determines what is best for me. If I want air out the floor only then make it floor only. If I want all air off, then turn it all off dammit. :annoyed:

It is intended to keep the windows clear. With auto HVAC it will turn recirc off and blow out the side vents and defogger automatically when conditions are correct to keep the windows from fogging up.

I thought I heard someone put if you hit the recirculating air button green light on and your AC is turned off no air blows through any vents

If you hit the recirculate button it should stop. that's how my tacoma was but haven't tested it out yet on my tundra.
It's designed like that to keep the windows and windshield from fogging up

    Hey mrLaw,
How is your mpg with level on 4.6? Just curious...
Thinking about leveling mine with coilovers in front set at 2".

Honestly, it didn't change all that much. Lost about 1-2 mpg with the 3/1 level AND going from a P rated 31 tire to an LT 33"

Do it, it looks so much better than stock but hardly overkill.
