No glue needed. Not hard to install. Only problem I had was I had to adjust the door striker. It was hard to close the door all the way. And still had to slam the door a little harder for about a year.

Any pointers for a double cab? I’m doing the drivers door and struggling like heck around the 90 degree bend in the top corner. Had almost all of it in but that corner wasn’t tucked properly and there was too much excess to fit. Started over and couldn’t get that corner to sit properly even when nothing else was in.

Had the same problem when I did my 04 Dbl Cab driver’s side door. So I left it like that but then wind noise comes thru that area. I caulked that corner on the outside and the wind noise stopped. Also no leaks when I take it to the car wash so I guess it’s ok. I also had the same problem on the opposite corner (bottom front) and did the same. The cab is very quiet now.

No personal experience, but watching Scott do a Lexus or Toyota on VEHCOR YT - he mentioned being careful to not stretch it as you install.

Not sure this is a pointer but I do recall having to relieve the inside B trim with my fingers as I then guided it in. At a point in time, I considered taking the B trim off but eventually it all worked out.
