Ordered my rear sway on 7/4 from Sparks Toyota. Not delivered yet, send a message asking about order. Sparks replied Toyota is only allowing them one sway bar a day? Whatever this means. Said my order would be two to three weeks out? Kicker is they already charge my CC. Thoughts?

Can't speak for that dealership, but I called my nearest dealership and said I'd like to buy a rear sway bar late on a Monday afternoon. They had it in by Wednesday. This was a little over a week ago.

I’d cancel and grab it from BAM or local dealer. BAM had mine at the door 4 days after purchase.

I got it in 2019, and from Amazon. But shipping suck, box broke and hardware missing, I have to go Home Depot get a all tread nut cut in down for the end link spacer3A56FE08-9FE5-46B3-8DE5-8F54F2E76480.jpg

Was considering this. Concerned about added cancellation or restocking fee which how can they charge a restocking fee on an item they don't have?

I think it depends on what you do with your truck.

Those Michelins are stock on a lot of Tundras. My '18 had them. They were decent, quiet, rode nice, I think not bad mileage. However by about 25k miles and after missing one rotation, I had just one of them wear out bad. It was the rear right, so it may have been towing related. Tire shop estimated the other three were around 60% at the time and that one was near down to the wear indicators; and I drive my Tundra really easy.

I replaced them with Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S and liked them a lot. Still quiet, still nice ride. I feel the snow traction (and traction in general) is a good bit better than the Michelins. As a result, a month ago when I traded my '18 with near new tires for my '21 Tundra, I asked them to stick the Michelins that came on my new truck on the '18 I was trading in and put the Coopers on my new truck.

my 2020 didn’t come with Michelin’s.. lol mine came with Dunlop sports lol. They seem to be a good tire. Definitely quiet and have great traction… however definitely a P-rated tire and I know it is silly to buy a tire bc it looks aggressive but I’m between Nitto RG & BFG KO2.

I love these tires and will be purchasing another set when these wear out. Like PA452 had said, they came stock on the truck, I think they are stock on both the Trail and Pro trims as well as a couple others. They took our family on a 2000 mile road trip to Colorado right after buying the truck and did amazing in the deep snow, rain, dry and mild off -roading. I couldn't believe they were able to stay soft at temps around zero without being a snow tire. I'm at 5000 miles now, no issues with anything. They have a semi aggressive look, more than a street tire but less than a mud tire.

I personally would never run something like KO2 as a daily tire just for the looks. They are heavy, noisy and can have issues balancing. That's just my opinion. And BAM is a website for buying parts, bamwholesale.

sweet thank you for your input. I have been leaning towards the Michelin’s especially bc if the mileage warranty.. I will read up on them to see how they do for towing weight as well.

This is exactly what I did. My little helper that I brought along did not have much to do.

I installed the trd rear swaybar a few weeks ago - Definitely should have been installed from the factory. I don't do "extreme" offroading, but did have a chance to run the tundy through some trails and a few hundred miles towing my travel trailer and it was definitely better with the swaybar.

Well I finally gave in as well, ordered Sunday night received Wednesday morning. I’ve had my TRD pro for almost a year and a half and have been in denial about “needing” the sway bar, however our latest Saturday family outing got me to at least try it out as my wife is super susceptible to motion sickness.
It was the second time I took the wife and toddler to forest roads in the mountains and the drive up the mountain hwy just absolutely killed wifey yet again :puke:so I had to try something before she declines our next outing
