TRD rear Swaybar and a Sequoia front sway bar is the best combo. the truck now drives like " almost " on rails. well at least compared to what it used to be. I almost got rid of the truck because of all the stupid swaying it did. It felt like it wallored all over the road

Huge difference. I just put one on two weeks ago. While I only had 800 miles on the truck before I put it on, the last 200 miles with it on have been night and day. Best mod I've made. Now I am a little leery of off-roading though; don't want to have to crawl under it and take it off all the time.

You won't need to. You'll get some extra noise from the sway bar creaking when it's flexed out, but nothing to be concerned with.

Thanks jberry. How stiff is the sway bar? I assume it is possible to break it or bend it if I get a little too nutty off-road?

Awesome. Good to know. While I probably won't want to buy a used truck off you, I'd probably get a kick out of off roading with you!

Can't disagree. I'd probably buy a truck off him - if he offered a warranty!

Sequoia away bar is plug and play. Honestly I would consider the effects marginal compared to the TRD rear. But it's also fairly inexpensive too.

I just took the rear sway bar off to see if it changed the way my trucks trac going off. It didn't, but as soon as my wife rode with me. She commented on how much more it leans in the corners. @jberry, how did you bend the brake lines to mount the brackets on the back of the axle instead of underneath it? I want to do that on mine.

Yeah, I saw how Jason had his mounted. When I looked at rotating them I noticed that the bracket would be crushing the brake lines. I think the lines could be rotated forward on the axle housing so that the u-bolts can go between the housing and the lines. The bracket is to fat to fit in between.

Literally, take the sway bar brackets and instead of putting them with bolts down, rotate it with bolts towards the front or rear...walla, you're now a magician! ;)

You're over thinking it...buy it, install yourself and be happy!

Did those who installed it yourself need power tools to get that large bolt off in the wheel well? I'm wondering if it could be done by hand with a socket wrench?

You'll likely need a 1/2" drive breaker bar, or your truck is new and clean enough you could get lucky.
