What is cost, and what is involved in replacing an actuator switch. My Tundra's 4x4 green light just blinks. Sometimes I can go backwards fast, slam on my breaks, and it starts working again. Should I buy the part on line..$200.00 or ?? and have it installed?

Also, I have gone under the beast with a small hammer, and tapped the switch.case and that worked for a few weeks.

Not to hijack this thread but I have the same problem with a 2000 Tundra, 4wd was working fine a few days ago now the 4Hi light just blinks. How do you determine if it is the add actuator or the tcase actuator?
