What tire pressure gauge does everyone use that is the most accurate?

Not even remotely a gimmick. Liquid filled gauges are very common actually. Liquid is usually Glycerine. Glycerine acts as a dampener to mechanical vibration and pressure spikes making liquid filled more accurate in high vibration environments and the internals are lubricated reducing friction and condensation. We calibrate 1000's of liquid filled pressure gauges in our cal lab each year.

Awesome! Thanks for the education. I bought one from Autozone the other day because I was curious. I'll have to do a comparison with the other two.

The ideal method of comparison is using a calibrated pressure standard where not only do you check for accuracy but you need to check hysteresis and linearity. Simply comparing PSI readings at tire valve proves nothing unless you have actual calibration data at cardinal points for the pressure gauge in question and a similar calibrated pressure gauge to use as the "Standard" and even then you can't check hysteresis or linearity...

Matt, I think I could accurately say that you are more accurate than any liquid filled gauges out there. I'll call you when I need tire pressure check. :D

Amazon sells very decent WIKA industrial pressure gauges with 1% accuracy. All you have do is attach a short pressure hose and tire valve stem adapter. We make our own and calibrate at work. About $90

The ARB is actually pretty good for the money. The movement is brass and also has a bronze Bourdon tube that more expensive gauges have. I believe ToyTec has them..........

What if he drops it in a puddle. Would that make it liquid filled and more accurate? :D
