So I had recently got into a slight fender bender and had accidentally broken my tail light. The next day when I was driving home, it was raining really bad and I don’t know if I had messed up the truck, but everything seemed fine. When Me and my dad were replacing it, (It was raining heavily btw) we accidentally did something and the brake lights all went out. We’ve checked all the fuses and none of them seem like anything was wrong with them and now my ABS light and my traction light is on. Along with that, I cannot take my Truck out of park without a long screwdriver to override the brake lock. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to help me out?

That sure sounds like it should be a blown “Stop” fuse, I can’t remember if it’s still a 15A in the fuse box under the hood on your 2017 like it is on my 2008, or if will be in the fuse panel under the dash. Wherever it is, check with a test light to see if you have power on both sides.

The stop light switch at the brake pedal would be my next check if the fuse has power on both sides.

You blew a fuse. Look under the driver side dash near the link panel. The fuse the the tail lights in there. Replace it.
