Oh, and MGM has been shown in clinical trials to be more effective than the other colors, and does not have the same side effects, such as headache, fatigue, irritable bowel, and random screaming.

    Go MGM!!

    Too many to list
Go with Crewmax if space is a reason for a change.

Definitely get the tundra. I did the same thing and didn't regret it at all.

I also moved from a Tacoma (that I loved) to a Tundra (that I love even more).
    The extra room is awesome.

It will be more than $40 difference, but worth looking at.

Depends I suppose but I know Tacoma resale is still pretty good and if he had a hughrh level trip Tacoma, they are priced around the same as an entry level tundra.

The dealer qouted me 299 but weekly vs my Tacoma at 276 biweekly. Tundra is a sr5 plus double cab 4x4 6.5 box with the 5.7l. my Tacoma is a trd off-road double cab short box 4wd (in canada so automatically came with tech package)

They are only taking 5 k from what I paid. With the 8k off, the taxes are a wash and I think they can only sell there Tacoma for 2k more max then they are giving to me. Kind of got lucky

I was in a similar situation, I went with the limited Tundra (had a limited Tacoma). I loved the truck, sold it for other reasons (only lost ~1500) on that deal (from sale price to purchase price) after 18 months. Would buy one again for sure. Everything about the Tundra (minus the gauges, push button start, the proximity key, and some of the entune features) is better than the Tacoma.

Limited is worth more for sure. That sounds like a good deal! I'm going in to test drive on Sunday. I can't wait. I'll miss push button start and the unlock feature but I feel its worth it.

I had a Tacoma before this truck as well so I can understand your needs but I'd probably be writing up the same thread and trading my double cab Tundra up for a crewmax had I not started with one. if you don't absolutely need the extra foot of bed I'd just do it right the first time and get the max.

2017 taco for 2 months hated interior room. Got a 2016 CM for such a good price. So happy I didn’t go with a DC because the interior space was the reason why I wanted to get rid of the taco.
I do miss how I was getting 21mpgs lol.

What’s up man. I only get about 15-16 because I work from home mainly now and so truck never sees any highway miles. Best I got was 18 consistently but it’s down to 15.0-15.5 now.

That's wild. I drove my relative easy. Would get 14 in the city or so but the best I could get in the highway was about 17ish or so. But that was on a flat surface and cruising between 60-70 or so.

    Srick height 2wd truck.

My Tacoma on the other hand, I was averaging 21mpg for the tank.

Buuuut, Tundra was still worth it .

Kids grow fast. In a couple years you won't need all that space in a CM unless you have Ottoman's there. Bed length is also a huge plus. Huge. IMO

Also came from a Taco. Not a great choice for hauling babies. Even my dog sat up front. I've had my grandkids ride in my Tundra DC. A lot. Plenty of room and I can actually reach back there.

I pretty much had every dealer I talked to at $3500 off a double cab plus incentives and no extra dealer fees. They were about $4500 off sr5 crew cab. I found toyota dealers a little more aggressive because the 2019's are $2200 to 3300 cheaper then comparable 2018's

if you don't through Toyota finance its 1k but if you finance through anywhere else it's 8k. The dealer set up the financing for my Tacoma like this already. Like I said in previous posts. Its a 4wd double cab regular box sr5 plus with the 5.7. it's a step up from the truck you described.... And definitely not getting a crewmax. Its not a big hit at all. I'm losing 5k on the Tacoma that i had for 8 months and they are rolling over the taxes. They are desperate to make a deal. I have all month because of the 8k off haha

I’m not sure what rate you were at on your Tacoma, but I was at a 5.9% from Toyota and traded in a DCSB Off-road 4x4 Tacoma for a Tundra CM 4x4 Limited; with the current incentives plus a little negotiation at the dealer (I’ll purchase the alarm and warranty at full price if you give me a tier bump) got me to 0.9% and a payment difference of only $2.00.

Remember to consider days on lot, carrying costs for the dealer, you’re clearing 2018 so they can get a 2019 and that you’re going to trade in a truck they can easily sell to get you closer to your taco payment.

Test drove a couple. Dealer tried to force a sale. Had a pretty good laugh at the tactics they try and use. The tundra is so we'll put together. Smooth and good ride. Way easier to get into compared to the Tacoma too. I'm 5 9 and have to crouch in and out. The tundra was very easy to get in and out of. Love the truck. Now for the dirty work

January 2016 I traded in my 2003 Tacoma for 2016 Tacoma. At that time, my 3 and 4 year old were a tight fit in the 03 body style double cab taco. The 2016 was larger though right, I'll be fine, and I loved my taco, I'll enjoy an updated one.
December 2017 I traded my 2016 Tacoma in on a 2017 TRD Pro Tundra CM (Cement, the most awesomest and best color). My now 5 and 6 year old can play tackle football in the rear passenger area of the truck (did I make a mistake, this truck is huge).
I loved my 03 Taco, I was disappointed in my 16 Taco, I frickin love my Tundra. I don't have a single complaint and I haven't given my Tacoma a second thought until this post. The crewmax is great for my family, great for the home renovations we just did prior to selling our house and was a huge help moving out of our house a couple weeks ago. If you need space for a growing family get the crewmax. You won't give your taco a second thought.

After testing out the tundra, you really notice the lag and wierd things the tacoma engine does. I must have gotten used to it. I just need a truck to haul materials and toys and maybe a kid in the future. I don't need some midsize toy like i initially thought i could make work. Also already have a 2014 Tacoma double cab Long box that I'm keeping because it's awesome

When I bought mine about 14 months ago it took a loan rate of 1.74% to make the full rebate worth it over a partial rebate and 0% from Toyota. I had the 1.74% approved and was ready to go that route but the CC messed up the application and I was going to have to wait 2 more days to get it finalized. Advantage of taking the extra cash and financing at 1.74% would have been if I paid off early. I plan on taking this truck in to retirement but never know what life is going to deal you. Normally I pay them off early but at 0% I might as well let my money work for me.
