OK 'Hold up a second here.
The ARE CX HD has an internal frame and comes made with the (through the canopy uprights and bars) crossbars. They are not replaceable or exchangeable. It's a system.
You should not be charged for the Yakima Load bars. And I really don't even understand how you would mount those.
    So that'll save you 621.00
You don't need the prop switch for the rear light to come on. They're really cheap. The dome light has a switch on it. You're already there to open the door. 8" more isn't a big deal. (Insert pun here).
    That's another 60.00.
The only thing I'd do different if it were me and I reordered my shell, I'd get the battery operated dome light. It's LED, no crappy wire install from the business, will never drain your battery, and the LED battery will last a long time before replacement.
You can also get the LED light strips from Mat Gecko or Amazon and run them in the channel of the frame internally. The lights from the factory are the same LED light strips with velcro on the back. They just stick them on carpet. It's pretty cheesy.
Anyway, I'm thinking you can save yourself about a grand.

I'll take a picture when it's light out so you can see what I mean about the towers.

The crossbars are made and installed as part of the HD frame. As far as I know they are NOT interchangeable with aero bars or anything else. You get what you get.
Also if you look at the frame it has channels for t slots. These would be great to tuck in LED’s. Another thing I forgot is with a battery operated dome light or LED’s you don’t have to swap out (like I did) and install as quick connect plug when you remove your shell.

Awesome! Thanks for the input! In terms of the CX HD shell, how does the “Alaska” price compare to Northern Cal?

The quote I got from a local dealer for the HD was about 3,500.

You betcha. I bought a used Century off of craigslist a few years ago for my F250. New it was over $3800 bucks it still had the receipt for the warranty attached. I gave the guy $250 bucks...and it was even my color. I have only seen a few good used ones for the Tundra and folks want full price or a few hundred off.....

I did use their build page on the ARE website. After the build, it shot off to my local dealer and I got an email 48 hrs later from them with the quote.

Did you get any feedback on pricing and the crossbars from the dealer?

My leer was in the low 3k range . Is it shipping making it above retail? ARE was cheaper here .

I live in Talkeetna so a bit closer. Spring 2018, I drove from Charleston, South Carolina to Anchorage. It was an adventure for sure...long story I chronicled on my YouTube channel but I had a brand new JKU that exploded in the middle of Wyoming (had to leave it there).

Definitely a beautiful drive and a bit sketchy in BC & Yukon in March but made it. Drove every single mile myself (5,000+ miles) and wouldn’t mind doing it again....except for the gas being $5.10 US per gallon in CAN at the time.

Are Canadian borders open right now (COVID-19)?

I don't think the borders are open but I'm honestly not sure. Haven't been paying much attention.

I think the CAN borders are closed to tourists for sure. I paid close to $6.50 US at Contact Creek, south of Watson Lake. Not much going on at Contact Creek off season. Beautiful area though. I've been up to Talkeetna a couple times while I was up in AK. NOV 2011 to AUG 2012.

Pricing makes more sense now. Dealer in Willow or Palmer?

Closest ARE dealer is Anchorage. I didn’t see one in Willow or Palmer.

I was just guessing about Willow or Palmer. Probably not to many topper dealers outside of Anchorage come think of it. A topper comes in handy. Especially up there too.
