A rainy windy day here in Western NC, so I decided to cruise up to my local GS. Being a Sig fan, I noticed they had a Sig P220 SAS for IWB carry.
I decided it needed a new home.

    https://www.sigsauer.com/store/p220-sas-gen2-carry.html

Long story short, I am really looking forward to some range time!

My buddy let me shoot his Dog out on the range, very nice. I don't remember the model other than it was a 9mm.

6'5" 240# I had P220 carry as a duty weapon in the early 90's. Then the Agency made us all carry issued pistols and it got away. One really fine shooting pistol. I also have a P229 40 cal in stainless with rose wood grips. Another fine shooter.

Yep, big ol boy. Probably don't even notice it.

Glad you were able to get out and spend the hard earned money. Get a good deal? I have been itching to get another pistol lately. Been eyeballing a P320 or stay in the Glock family with a 26.

Any day is a nice day for a gun purchase!!

Been looking for a replacement carry myself. Still deciding between a 9 and a 45.

This looks great, I'll have to see which range rents it out and give it a few pulls!!

I was a little confused myself! Kept thinking "maybe that's just slang for "gun" where he's from" :notsure:

Modern defense ammo makes former differences in these calibers negligible. Personally I'd go 9mm. More lead down range.

    And Tac reloads are stupid.

That's a slick one. Been dying to shoot a p320 (what can I say, I like striker-fired pistols).

Nice addition. Love me some sigs duty weapon for the first 20 years was an original German made 220. Hasn't left the safe since I retired. My backup was a 239 in .357 Sig. I also have an original 228 and a P6.
