In AZ you gotta get drawn for deer and elk. One a year if you get drawn. I haven't been drawn for anything in three years now Very annoying. They do allow over the counter tags for archery deer in certain units. Pics like what's above make me wanna go buy a new bow

    Trying to hunt this dude...
    IMG_8521.jpg

Buddy of mine shared this heartbreak...
His place is about 40 mi from me.
'Had this toad on cam all summer. Last Sat. came by his stand 200 yds away while bowhunting, just before daylight. 11 hrs. later, killed by neighbor 100 yds over the property line. As a crow flies, nearly a mile from am sighting to kill spot. 147 and change...

My dad and I got this one last year. There’s another one in the same area that’s close to his size we are trying for this year.

This is public land in north idaho as well. Our 4th deer together that’s scored above 160.

Yea...it was just shy of 148. I think it 147 6/8 if memory serves.
The G2 and G3's are mismatched. The extra point points at the bases I know would technically be deductions. 'All reasons why I've never liked gross/net and drying period ideas... I feel like, whatever headgear the deer/elk is carrying at the time of harvest, that's the score!
I killed this thing a few years back (bow). Gross 144+....Net....120+?!?!?
