BTUs carried away is not a theory, and is quite calculable, as well as all the other gas laws that deal with refrigeration and a/c, so 34 degrees from the vents is too low, your not getting proper airflow across the evaporator, temp coming off the coil should be around 55, or so once the a/c is up and running, on first start up, I would expect about 65 degrees out of the vents. Good airflow from the vents does not mean good airflow across the coil, but haven’t taken the dash apart on a new tundra to advise

    Too many, but not enough....
I have a 21 SR5 CM and last summer got more than a little uncomfortable in Socal a number of times. It was north of 105 a few times with low humidity, like you, and my ac was working so well that I was shocked when I saw the outside temperature on the dash. I usually run with all the vents open and on recirc with 4 people in the car. My AC has never been on max, its usually in the middle third when its that hot and the lowest 3rd when its just an average warm day. I too have ceramic tint on all the windows, including the windshield, but my truck is white, which i am sure helps. I have never measured the temperature of the air through the vents but 34 degrees sounds like as good as it gets.

If you are blowing 34F out vents you have a serious restriction in your blower system. Did you check the cabin filter? Is you blower fan operating at high speed. Surprised your evaporator not a block of ice, which would also restrict air flow. Coldest AC I ever had was a Lexus and it blew 37F and would freeze you out of car in Houston with 95F and 90% humidity. You would have to run wipers since windshield would fog up. My 2021 Tundra has no issues cooling in Houston...

I have an 08, and I must say, the AC is one of the things I least like about my Tundra....It's meh! Granted I've not had it serviced, and don't know if it ever has been serviced.

Along with that, this truck interior gets hotter than any vehicle we've owned.
I did just recently have the windows tinted with solar tint, and it helps greatly!

Did some testing on my Tundra 96f today 58% humidity. No matter what I did I could not get vent temp below 43-44F, the compressor would cycle off, same as my F250. Cab temperature (bright sun) was 78F and felt colder than that, fan speed was mid-way. I had zero issues being comfortable. 4 people in car with black interior and graphite color. When first stared AC vent was blowing 52F with 100? in car. So if you are below 40f I have no clue what's going on as the compressor should be cycling off to prevent the evaporator from freezing. I can get my Lexus to blow 35F out the vents, 4 runner same 44F then compressor cycles off. 2001 Lexus doesn't cycle its has a variable displacement compressor which is the best AC I ever had in anything. Oh I know its 21 years old and 210K miles and better technology than my 2021 Tundra.......

I agree with the above. Not enough airflow through the evaporator. My 2021 will freeze me and my passengers on high during the hot part of the day. Granted I have factory tint and a white truck. My condenser is as also screened with 1/4" hardware cloth to keep bugs out and my transmission cooler isn't blocking half of the condenser either. Simply works great with the fan speed on the second notch when it's hot, higher than that is too cold.
