I’m being lazy in taking my sway bar off for this run. Is anyone running with a sway bar during the run? What’s your suggestion?

So... the guys you tagged haven't responded but, by all accounts (BestGen plus my RW friends who've done this run), it is very easy, 2-wheel drive accessible, little articulation required. If I had a sway bar, I'd leave it on. :anonymous:

But air down the tires. You know, to participate.

Last time we all met up at Idyllwild, a few people had sway bars on. No damages to report. I think you should be good.

X2 on this and airing down is recommended

Definitely air down, provides better traction but also makes the ride much more comfortable!

Sway bars will be just fine on this trail, no worries there.

Also myself and two taco friends will be caravanning up with the SD Tundras, but once we get to BBDC we’ll be splitting right away. We’re going to run Gold Mtn, it’s a technical 4x4 trail but it’ll allow us to hook back up with you guys at the break spot. We’ll then finish the trail with y’all!

Did this run this past Sunday over Labor Day weekend. Had a total of 18 rigs on the group run including myself starting west end of GVL/Crab Flat 3N16 to the very end of the east end of 3N16 at the Transfer Station. Majority split at the end either back home, or back into the trail and some camped out over night. I carried along up the 18 and went to Johnson Valley for some free wild runs. Definitely a nice trail to run! Wish I can join you guys on this one, but I got some mods to do and customer's car to work on.

Have fun and be safe everyone. If you see a harder line, take it! I’m gonna guess 32 trucks. And you guys should choose a radio frequency now so the guys trying to catch the moving caravan can merge in seamlessly.

@Marty McFly, do you know this guy :boink:? He's got his own entourage.

Hi, Dara! Where do you live? Is Big Bear a place you can easily get to?

I live in Long Beach area, so Big Bear is fairly close to me about 2 hours away. This day when we went it was an open invite on Facebook and Instagram, so there was all types of vehicles there and people from different places.

We all had a great time out there.
