Huh: a weird but cool vehicle that looks vaguely 'back to the future'. @Marty McFly, I think we should welcome this guy in his retro futuristic minivan.

@Solarinsocal we have tolerance (cough, secret appreciation, cough, cough) for all types of vehicles. I can't wait to check this one out!

I want to see this thing in person also. All I can think about is the Endless mod potential and I want to see it in action :)

Yup. We can get together and proselytize about what size tires and lift to put on that thing! :fistbump:

I don’t know though, it seems like a very high center of gravity vehicle. It’s going to rock from side to side pretty hard on dirt trails

I dunno, @Marty McFly. The top weight looks to be just siding and roof? As long as there's nothing heavy packed on top (and no RTT), seems alright. :notsure:Anyway, this may be the tamest run we do, so a good opportunity for @Solarinsocal to lay in some dirt. Anyway, think how entertaining it'd be if it did get tipsy-- like moving vans careening around hairpin turns in old cartoons:

Definitely the Hiace is Toyota and RHD but the truck I wanted to run with you guys would be a Ram Power Wagon. I'm in the Torrance area btw.

@Solarinsocal you just have to watch your entry and exit angles with the Hiace :burnrubber:

So... my vote is, we'd definitely prefer you join our line with that Power Wagon, then drive toward from the opposite direction!

We met a full sized truck coming toward us on a long narrow stretch next to a steep drop-off during our Bee Canyon run. That was no fun. Better we gather all the Big Shoulders and Hips on the same side.:muscleflexing:

Whoa, that's a lot of work. Either blood, sweat and tears, or lots of the green kind.

I'll definitely try to bring the Hiace out on a calmer run. Also a 2.8L non turbo diesel has a hard time getting out of its own way especially climbing up Big Bear.

Any big trucks willing to try Gold Mountain?

I was out a couple of weeks ago with TTORA up at Big Bear and didn't run the Gold Mountain, White Mountain trails. Interested in them though.

Hmmn. I haven't researched these much. @BestGen promised to lead us on a run easily accessible for 3rd gen stock 4x4 Tundras but doable for willing adventurers like me, in my TRD 3rd gen Tundra. Paul, do I need to change plans and drive the 4 Runner?

I think those trails would be considered more on the difficult side for us full size trucks. I used to do them in my rear locked Xterra back in the day without issues. 3" lift, locked rear, sliders and full plates was easy for both those trails. John Bull was harder but doable. I hope this helps description wise.
