Yeah, could use a more capable person on the polisher too..:anonymous: Honestly, I'm not too worried, it's too much fun wheeling to worry about paint.

OK, bumper is out, it's really easy, 10 bolts. The B**** of it is the parking sensors. I messed with 'em for about 15 min. before giving up and just disconnecting the entire harness. I'll remove the sensors from the old bumper while it's on the ground.

While you were removing the bumper, did you see an easy way to adjust it? My right side is pushed in so far it's about a 1mm from the bed. The left side is about a finger's width away.

I can't hear 'em with the windows up. Windows down at slow speeds...... They're pretty noisy. The improvement in ride and performance makes the trade off completely worth it to me though. At first I thought it might be the chain for the spare tire.. LOL

I'm not smart enough to have taken measurements before. But to the bottom of the bumper I'm now at +/- 22" and projecting farther out 2.5" at the top of the bumper.

I got an idea from a build page, either @papasmurf or @osidepunker had a pic of the rear bumper hanging with only the 2 front bolts still attached. So, that's how I removed it, floor jack for support, pulled all the bolts except the front 2 which I loosened.IMG_20180417_125924346.jpg

I pulled the whole bumper so if there's an adjustment method, I haven't come across it yet. I'll take a look and let you know.

Lookin' good! Also, that tail gate is so reflective, I thought you'd done some custom painting 'til I magnified the photo.

I'll try to take measurements on mine since I'm running same tire size, similar suspension.
how are you gonna do it when you tow and with the license plate ?

o_O The bypasses don't make any noise. Atleast nothing you can hear from inside the truck. The noise your truck is making Warren is from something else. Sounds like a spring squeeking or something.

Good looking bumper! Hope they make one for the 2nd gens. I never knew there were relocated receiver hitches that moved em up.
