Not too sure how soon I'll have the rear done but when it is I'm hoping to head south for a little SGU tuning session! Maybe there's time this morning to yank that DD before another week of rain begins.

I wanted to get that same wrench also, but ended up getting this from King. That damn resi hose does gets in the way at that very last little turn you want to make. I use this T-handle tool and the original king collar tool both at the same time and helps with more leverage and torque when turning the colloars.

So I have a wrench from my old ADS C/Os but it doesn't work. These Kings have a strange bell shaped spring hat. The ADS wrench is too fat, the pin won't seat cause the edge of the wrench hits where the bell flares out. Is the Kartek one pretty thin? I was looking at the King T-handle wrench. :notsure:

Are those coilovers 3.0s or 2.5?

Thanks, that's the one I've been thinking about. Called Filthy and their voice mail said, "we're busy, leave a message and we'll call in a couple days." LOL

Make sure it's the right one for your coilovers. They have different PN for 2.0-2.5 and 3.0

Well, I destroyed a tire, completely my fault, in Mojave this past weekend so I decided instead of replacing it with another 35 to go with a set of 37s since that's what I'm geared for. Discount Tire Direct, as usual, came through with a great price on KM3s. This time I bought the certs because they said that even if it were my fault, had I purchased them for the 35s, they would've replaced the tire I destroyed.
Yet another rabbit hole as I don't have a full sized spare now or a great way to carry a 37 let alone 2.
    Coming soon:

I got my km3 37s for a steal as well! What tires were you on before? Coming from Toyo MTs the KM3s are friggin quiet and made me feel like something was wrong with the truck cause I'm so use to the noises lol

I was on Yoko's GOO3 or something like that. I really liked those tires but my dumb/lazy ass over deflated 2 of 'em and promptly hit a rock less than 5 min after hitting the dirt. Because of the gears I needed, IMO, 37s anyhow but was hoping to wear out the Yokos first.
I've seen a place in Long Beach selling the KM3's really reasonably. Is that where you got 'em?

I didn't get the KM3's from anywhere in my area. I actually got the from 88rotors offroad in El Monte... They are loaded with BFG's there.

You better figure it out haha two flats on one rock is VERY common. It happens the same way all the time, you don't see that one rock on the side of the trail and it takes out both tires as you pass.

I've needed both my spares becuase of one incident exactly twice now.

Also, if you have one spare and have one flat, then you have to finish the trip with no spares which sucks...

Also, less chance of a buddy having your tire size now that you are 37s, unless you're wheelin with SGU haha @papasmurf @KevinK

I'm screwed. My front fenders are Fiberwerx and they're all the way down in SD. It cost $80 just to ship the little fender extensions, can't imagine what bedsides would cost. I never looked closely enough to see the difference but the detail around the wheel well is very different. But, Advan is a LOT closer to me and I hope to pick up the leaf pack at the same time.

Oh, those were froggy's you had in you truck! Which flavor are you getting Soop? I'm getting either McNeil or Fiberwerx, they're really similar.
