I wasn’t planning on it. I have the SSO slimline arriving tomorrow. We’ll see how that works out. I bought that before going on any trips with you guys. Each trip changes my build ideas :annoyed:

I needed to take a few minutes yesterday and investigate the rear axle. The driver side rear wheel had moved noticeably. I took the leafs apart and found the center pin had sheared. A quick trip (in the wife's car) to the hardware store for a grade 8 bolt and that's fixed.

I got a few minutes to work on the truck and the air system today. I made a couple of brackets and began running the hoses. There are lots of ways to do this. Since installing the compressor I've found it to be really convenient and have at times wished for more locations to plug in. So, I've opted to have a quick coupler at each wheel well.
    IMG_20181013_164251399.jpg Panned out for perspective.

Any concern on those getting caked up with mud or dirt? Do they have something like a cap for those. I’m jealous btw. One day many mods from now I will do something similar

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I don't think these would survive long w/o covers. There are dust caps available but they're for hydraulic lines, they can be pretty expensive and I don't know how well they'd fit.
I've had one quick connect working on the truck for over a year but it's always covered when not in use. I used pipe insulation and 10mil tape, super funky. For the new ones ( I'm going less funky but still funky) I'm using some hose and metal table leg caps. I'll post pics of 'em later.
Or, maybe I won't. LOL I just did another quick search and found these:
    https://www.amazon.com/Grunge-Armor...pID=41pjFjrweqL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
I might pick these up instead of continuing with the funk.

I got the 3 gal. tank installed under the bed and the hoses run to all four corners. The tank was cheap IMO $40 on Amazon and has 5 ports. I had to cut the legs off, roll the tank 180* and weld the legs back on so that the drain was on the bottom. On the left you can see the supply from the compressor goes to the middle port, front pass wheel is froward rear pass is aft. The right side of the tank has a single 3/8 out to the frame where it tees to 1/4 for the driver wheel wells. The hoses are reclaimed poly stuff from my shop.
This weekend I hope to wire the second pressure switch and see if my plan for airing all the tires at once is gonna actually work.

Looks great Warren, how long does it take the twin to air up the tank ?

Ha ha. Great question. I have no idea. I found a great "deal" on the twin and discovered after I installed it that it's got a cracked head. I ordered a new head from Just Differentials for +/- $7 and on their 2nd attempt they got the right part to me. I need to pull the compressor to wire the 2nd pressure switch so I'll replace the head at the same time. I should have 2 very different fill times for the 2 different pressures.

Finally got to the point where I can answer your question, sort of. To fill the 3 gal. tank and all the associated hoses to 40psi takes just over a minute. I'm having issues switching between pressure switches so haven't been able to see how long it takes to fill to 105psi which is the ARB cutoff pressure. I've just put waaay too much time into this and need to do something else for a while before I get back to it.

Uhh, yes? JK Yeah, the old one is behind the grille. I was worried the old one was too tight and causing a squeak. Of course, that wasn't the problem.
