I went out, and eyeballed the engine bay on our 2008 Sequoia. I don't have a lot of hands on time with that one yet.

You're correct. 1st gen. I saw the headlights, and just immediately dismissed it as incorrect info. I'll shut up now.

No worries, I first saw the door handle that threw it off for me. Every time I looked at the picture I saw other items that didn't quite fit. Like the spacer below the headlights look like someone just cut some sheet metal and tacked it in there, doesn't follow the headlight line. I had an '07 before my '14 so had a bit of time under the hood. The Radiators don't look right either, but figured it was altered for the 6x6.

Yeah, I saw the things that were pointed out, and then more after I really started looking at it.

I kinda glossed over the first posted photo, and saw the headlights. You know what they say about assuming...

I'm curious over the whole build now.

Definitely waiting for the future pics from @Bruce2020. It's got me wondering what does "extensive" modification mean?

Well, 0 posts...sounds like a troll. Plus with that many modifications you'd assume a tech with mucho skill would be walking that truck through these stages of life

I see your point, but at one point in time you had zero posts too. Just the same as me, and every other member.

I also see where it could be a troll. If so, good for them. If not, maybe they will become invaluable to the forum.

He never said he was experienced. Simply that he was a tech encountering issues.

When I started out as a maintenance tech I didn't have a clue on some issues, and would reach out for help in times of need.

You're really making me look bad...haha. I get what you're saying but these kinds of thread starts piss/annoy the hell outta me. Always beating around the bush when it comes to information or pictures.
The craigslist equivalent is the guy trying to sell his honda civic with no pictures, no listing if it's a 5spd or auto, or even what year it is......
Just a Honda Civic. Good condition. Price firm

I got a refresher course on this thread about thinking before posting. I'll make the same mistake again eventually, but for the short time I do remember no more of this. 20200720_164339.jpg

So let me get a few things clear...when I say technician I mean electrical technician...I am doing the electrical works on the pickup...that is why I am dealing with 4(6)wd issues ..I haven't done any body works or mechanical modifications to the pickup (another guy is responsible for that). Also I wanna get these pictures sooner to the forum, maybe today and if I could I'll even post a picture of recent job of another conversion...but this is a land rover (6×6) . Plus this 6×6 build is primarily for the jungle trails (Amazon jungle).

That makes more sense. My fault for assuming you meant mechanic technician. Looks to be an interesting build nonetheless
