I bought 2022 toyota tundra 1794 at Family Toyota
    https://www.familytoyotaofburleson.com

They don't do any mark up. 61999 is my msrp price. It came out to be over 68k. I ask 67k out the door and the manager didn't even hesitate at all with my price. Ask for David brinkley and Seth (manager) best service of all Toyota dealership I been. Eta on my truck is Feb 6 and David and Seth got in Jan 23.

I’m not a mathematician but it sounds like you paid more than MSRP by quite a bit.

Must be a typo. I’m not sure what combination of options would put you at 61,999 for MSRP.

Listening to all of these horror stories about the cost of new trucks makes me realize two things:
    1. I am keeping my 2019 until the wheels fall of.
    2. My next automobile purchase will likely NOT be a truck.

I don't NEED a truck to make a living, but I do like the convenience and towing capability of it. The cost of gas is climbing and my commute is over an hour each way. None of that matters to me.......but there is no freaking way I am going to pay $70k for a truck unless I need it to make my living. Mine is going to be paid off in six months so I might as well keep it and spend the next ten years saving for my corvette mid life crisis car.

Not sure about that. Bought my 2021 F-250 XLT for MSRP of $56k last July. Granted it only has the 6.2L gasser but I got 3120 lbs of payload, same gas mileage, no turbos.
Now if you go diesel, or up in trims you get into $70k+ territory.

You know that frame bending issue was back in like 2010, right? And they reinforced the frame before the end of the 1st gen run. And then the 2nd gens were on a different frame than the regular F150. same with the 3rd gen since the rear is 5 linked and not leafed.

These random comments from brand new members stating "dealership X and salesperson Y are amazing and great prices" always seem like a fake account made by salesperson Y at dealership X.

Well after the cost of all the mods including right hand drive conversion and import costs I am not surprised.

Want to know the trick to lower prices? STOP paying the ridiculous prices. If no one buys it the price will be lowered. As long as people continue to pay these ridiculous prices they will continue to list them.

That's nice, but the 37 is also not a base Raptor.

Not to mention you are quoting someone from page 2 of a 9 page thread...

Just want to be clear here, you are comparing the price of a truck that is not even close to base level (and even everyone would admit the base is still better spec'd) to one that is and I'm the stupid one. Keep calling me names, it really helps out your weak argument.
