Just want to be clear here, you are comparing the price of a truck that is not even close to base level (and even everyone would admit the base is still better spec'd) to one that is and I'm the stupid one. Keep calling me names, it really helps out your weak argument.

Jesus Christ, Are you serious? I make a statement about the price of a Raptor 37 and your little mind races off to assumptions and call it a "random statement" and "stupid" which was unnecessary.
It was a simple statement that the Raptor 37 is $82k and I'm sure someone will pay it.
The TRD Pro is a premium package that includes a hybrid system. There is also a 7.5% inflation rate over the last year alone to factor in....and someone will pay it.

You didn't just make a statement, you quoted someone from 7 pages ago with something that is irrelevant. If you wanted to say trucks are expensive and someone will pay it (which I agree with), you could have, but you didn't until now. Do you see the disconnect?

I saw a post saying the TRD Pro was priced in Raptor territory. I didn't disagree with it, I stated the Raptor 37 was $82k (with comparable add ons). No disconnect and the post is only 10 days old. People don't need you moderating the site with snide remarks. I'm sorry I don't monitor the site 24/7 or spend hours on it looking at every post. I will reply how and when I want. If a Moderator has an issue, they can deal with it.

Which again goes back to what I said about not comparing apples to apples. Let me know what this settles in.

Bigger picture, TRD Pro = $68.5k, Kings suspension = $8K, 37" Wheels and tires = $3.5k, gears & front locker =$3k, total = $82k, that is apples to apples and where most serious builds will end up.

With no warranty on any affected components and I'm not sure if you are including installation or not. Not to mention you never said anything about this originally, you are just changing your argument.

Not everyone is going to mod their TRD Pro this seriously either, if someone wanted to spend this much they probably would get an SR5 and go from there, in the end being less than either. But that's not the point right?

Do I have to use synthetic oil in a Pro or can I use conventional oil?

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Pretty sure they don’t give a fuck if Toyota pickup buyers don’t like them, or Toyota North America doesn’t approve.

    https://www.charlottemclaren.com/

They sell super cars that cost as much as a house.

I'm not mad about what anyone pays. It's their money to spend as they choose. I was simply stating that your post read like a spoof account made by a dealership employee attempting to drum up business.

To answer your question; no, I didn't call any dealership because I bought my truck more than 2 years ago. Different market altogether so my savings were significantly better that what the current situation offers. Can't compare the two, because of the base price hike of Toyota and the gouging being done by most dealerships.

None of that changes the fact that your first post in this thread sounded like a fake account putting in a plug for a dealership.

@GODZILLA your problem is first thought is a fake member. You need to stop judging or just don't respond to the thread. I hear to help other buyers that are looking for a truck with a ridiculous price. So you cant help or make it better for my post, go find yourself a new hobby. Read a book or something. you must be real bored

I don't have a problem at all. Sounded fake, I said so. Your personal attacks don't change that, and you do not get to decide what others say or think, even if you don't like it. Enjoy your truck, the forum, and your day.

I agree. That build is around $28K more than I spent on my Tundra, and about $400 more per month. Definitely a sellers market right now, especially on something like the Raptor.

I got a $714 payment with ZERO down and terrible credit, if I wanted a 22 id probably be looking at $1500/month. That is a mortgage not a truck payment
