This is beautiful. I'm waiting for 6112's to show up and want to go 1.9. I currently have BFG ko2 285/65r18 on stock suspension. Will definitely want to bump up for the next set. nice to see your set up and know that its not super complicated to get 295/70's on there.

No modifications so far... that's why I'm here.
Has anyone ran Deaver AAL with a 6112/5160 setup? I bought 6112/5160 last year in November with a set of Deaver AAL. This was recommended by Cali Raised Off-road to maintain the rake on top setting (2.5”). I’m supposed to get my SCS Ray10’s in tomorrow and plan on going down to 4WP this weekend for the install of everything. The goal is to maintain factory rake, but I’ve yet to see any builds with the 6112/Deaver AAL. Anyone have pics of their trucks with those installed?

I can't find anyone that has 6112/5160 in-stock right now. Can anyone suggest a source or another place I should be looking? Don't really want to go with another product. Someone tried to tell me to go with 5100s but i don't want to do that.

I’m trying to go through a shop in the area. Put money down on some 5160s they had in stock and just spending eternity waiting for 6112s to come in and my turn on the list. Guy said Bilstein won’t give them much indication when or how much stock is coming, it will kinda just show up. Either way, I’m willing to wait for what I want at that price point.

I recently purchased a 2021 CM TRDOR, and I'm looking to level the truck. I've been researching lifts for the last couple of weeks and decided to go with the 6112/5160. And, I came across this thread last night and read a countless amount of replies.

I'm looking to install the 6112 kit in the front on the 1.9 setting with either 1 or 2 coachbuilder shims on the driver side (for the known leaning issues on the driver side) and either none or one on the passenger side. And, I would install the 5160 shocks in the rear with the coachbuilder +1 shackle (for eliminating side flex, bed hop and strength for towing) or a greasable shackle. I don't plan on changing the control arms if necessary and trying to stay under 3 inches of lift to avoid any caster issues.

I'm leaning towards the newer TRD Pro BBS wheels to maintain the stock look if I'm able to run them with either 33 or 34 inch BFG A/T or their Trail terrain tires (metric size) without rubbing. If not, I'll go with either the fuel or methods that don't stick out pass the fenders too much.

My main usage for the truck would be towing about a +/- 4500 lb boat about 200 miles a few times a month during the summer and fall and off roading on light to moderate trials from time to time. My main concern would be using the truck for towing more than anything and not loading too much power from the larger tires going up steep inclines.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

sometimes that “lean” is overblown, mine has no lean with no shims. I don’t understand putting shims in the front with the bilstein not in the top setting, just seems like unneeded extra parts to me. If you think you want 1.9 plus shims in the front I’d just put em all the way up. The rear shackle and rear height is just for the stance you want, unless you do beefier leaves it’s not changing much other than ride height.

a lot of people overthink these bilstein setups, it’s basic stock geometry with a little higher ride height, just set it at the amount of lift you want and roll.

I'm running 6112s up front on the top setting and 5160s w/Resi's in the rear. Tire Setup is 275/70/18 Discoverer AT3 with a Black Rhino York Matte Gunmetal wheel 18x9 -12mm!

Unlike the lucky guy that had no drivers side lean at all my truck had nearly a full inch of lean. It was pretty annoying having 1" of lift on one side and 2" on the other. I initially had two shims on the drivers side but was uncomfortable with the very little thread remaining for the nuts on the top. I am now 1.9" setting with one shim drivers and none passenger and I think that's pretty perfect. You would probably be happy having a +1 Coachbuilder shackle on the back but it really is all personal preference. If the bilstein 6112 isn't in stock my friend has the Eibach pro adjustable Coilovers for about the same price I think they are just as good if not slightly better.

I have a noob question.. If I go 5160 can I still install CB+3? It seems alot of ppl are doing it but on paper the CB+3 provides 1.75" lift but 5160 only allows for 0-1.5" lift. how does it work?

Yea you shouldn’t have any problems with the CB +3. I probably have 2.5” rear life with my 5160 and it’s no problem

Thats the setup I want! I am drooling.... :cheers:Looks like you got 1" front bumper shim, or is that 0.5"? removed mud flaps, stock UCA no CMC? I thought 295 falkens maybe too wide for 1.9" lol

exactly right - flaps removed and no BMC but the offset plays a big role. I used the coach builder shims and I would be surprised if they totaled much more than .5"

Finally got shipping confirmation on my 6112s, so hopefully in the next few weeks I’ll be able to get the 6112s, 5160s, coachbuilder shackles, and bumper spacers put on

After a long wait I finally got my 6112/5160 kit installed yesterday. Have the fronts set at 1.9” with one 1/4” coachbuilder shim on the drivers side. The shop apparently broke their ball joint press trying to remove the old bushings, so the coachbuilder +2 shackles will have to wait a couple weeks until I can give up the truck again. Overall pretty happy with the ride so far, and it’s relatively level as it currently sits, but looking forward to a little extra rake. The tires are 275/60r20 Goodyear wrangler duratracs on stock 20s, but will be upsizing to a 275/65r20 when the tires wear down or I come into a little extra cash.

Looking to see if anyone's got a similar setup to what I'm wanting to do or has some experience with lifts and suspension.

Ordered a pair of 6112 planning on setting to 1.9 or second off the top setting. A single coach builder shim on the driver side so eleviate some lean going on. Stock Bilstein 4600 shocks in the rear with coach builder +3 shackles.

Looking to have some forward rake and not breaking the bank to have a near 2 inch lift.

Thanks for the input and help

6112s top setting up front ... 5160s in back with Toytec shackles @ 1" setting. 285/75/17 KO2s. Had to bend in the corners of the skid to prevent rubbing at full lock.
