Also, did you add any shims to your 6112's on either side? Do you happen to have your alignment specs? I also did the JBA UCA's with my install and need to get my alignment done. How does it ride compared to before?

    Your truck looks great!!

I am not sure what type of lug nuts they are. They came with the wheels when I ordered them.. They need the lug key on all of them.
I did forget to add that I am running 1 shim on both sides.. And it is all level well within 1/4".

Here is the alignemt sheet I have to the shop, they said they were able to get the same numbers. I felt a different, it doesn't pull and no more ware in the tires. Screenshot_20200324-114505_Messenger.jpg 20200324_114644.jpg

I just got all of this installed over the weekend and it was fun getting to work on the rig, except for trying to get the bushings out of the shackle. Everything went pretty smooth for the most part but I have some questions/concerns on a few things and hoping some of you can chime in and help me out. Still need to change out the mirror caps and door handles, also received my interior AJT items and will be doing those at the same time. Also, I barely rub on the cab/body mount, so I will be doing the CMC (purchased the relentless plates), unless the alignment or changing the tire pressure will help this?? I am adding some photos of the install, let me know if everything looks right or if something is off.

    1. My main concern is the thread engagement on my lug nuts (Gorilla lug nuts M14x1.5 ET3), it doesn't look right to me but in researching this a little bit seems like it may be okay. The lug nuts were provided with my wheels and appears there is at least half, if not slightly more than half, of the threads engaged on the studs. Does anyone know if this is "normal" or is there something else I need to do or get instead? Is this normal with Fuel wheels on a Tundra? (see photo)

    2. I drove it around the block and it felt like I had less control, almost like it was wandering or "floating". I do need to get an alignment so hopefully that is the issue and it will fix this, unfortunately, my local 4x4 shop is closed for 30 days due to the COVID-19 situation. I'll start there and see if that was the issue, otherwise, not sure what it could be or what to check.

    3. When I was installing and torquing the CB shackles, it seemed like the passenger side shackle took longer to tighten/torque and is bending at the top. Additionally, they both seem like they are twisted a little bit so not sure if either of those issues are "normal" or not. (see photos)

    4. How do you torque the rear upper shock bolt with the limited amount of space to get the torque wrench and socket in there? Crowsfoot wrench? Any tips would be appreciated!

    5. Does the thread engagement look okay for the driver's side upper coilover bolts?

    Thanks!

Just received my Fuel Vector 20x9 +20 and these were the lugs that were sent by @BOSS4x4s for comparison. Haven't installed my kit yet but will update once completed.20200324_152452.jpg 20200324_152633.jpg

Got my spidertrax 1.25 on. I have a post a little further up detailing my set up. Rubbed only on the fender liner and mud flaps. Heat gun fixed it! Nice!

Had to move furniture and rolled the Softopper down. I like how it looks without (at least on my white truck) but it’s so useful.

Finally going to get my 6112/5160 installed along with shackles set at 1.5", SPC UCAs, Fuel Vector 20x9+20, Nitto Terra Grapplers 35x11.50 (true size 34.53x11.42) and looking for anyone who has installed the 6112 on a 4x2 Tundra. What setting did you use? What height did you actually get? Do I need to install any shims in order to clear this tire size? Not wanting to do a BMC just plastic trimming. Thanks

Honestly you might have wanted to set yours at the 2.1 setting not the 1.5 if you are already worrying about clearance issues. I am not too familiar with the 4x2 though. I think the questions you are asking may should have been asked before you purchased your lift in order to get exactly what you needed or wanted in order to fit the tire size desired.

    6112’s at 1.9
    Stock rear with 5160’s.
Currently have 285/65r18 ko2’s on trd pro wheels. I see that stock pros can fit a 295/70r18 with 2” front lift....can I fit those as well? I know 275/70r18 is the safe bet but I’ve ran those on a stock 16 trd in the past. Also tossing around the idea of camburg UCA’s.

I would suggest that you measure your rake before anything is installed. These trucks are all different. Once you have your baseline, and you know where you want to be, it would be easier to make the decision.
i.e. if you want to level you will probably have to be at one of the top settings, since standard rake is in the 1 to 1.5" range, so on top of the 1.5" shackle you need to add whatever your rake is to get to the final front setting. If you want to keep your rake the way it is but want to add lift, then the front need to be set to as close to the shackle's 1.5" as you can get, either the 1st or 2nd setting.

As far as how much work is needed to fit 295/70/18 on +25, is there a big enough difference between 1.9 lift plus 2 shims driver and 1 passenger, versus 2.5 with just one shim driver?

Trying to decide 6112 setting. I don't mind having to do some work on the plastics or skid plate. Just wondering if I can expect about the same amount of work for these two options or if that extra .3 inches would make it way easier.

Just finished installing my leveling kit from @BOSS4x4s. Really happy with how it turned out. I had a 2” rake before and now have a 1” rake. Ride is much better than stock - more assured handling, less shaking and bounce, less brake dive, and the rear end doesn’t squat on takeoff. Corners great.

Installed 6112s @ 1.9” with 2 shims on driver side and 1 shim on passenger. 5100 rears, ToyTec shackles on 1” setting and new poly bushings. TRD Pro wheels with 275/70R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3s.

My measurements from wheel hub to fender:

    Front: 22-1/2” before, 24-1/2” after.
    Back: 24-1/2” before, 25-1/2” after.

Overall very happy. The install was fairly straight forward. Removing the rubber bushings from the leaf springs was a pain even with renting a ball joint press. Just had an alignment and drives great.

Does your 275/70/18 rub at all with the 1.3 setting?
How come you didn't go 1.9?

Good choice. I’m set the same minus the sway bar and UCAs. Love the ride and stance.

I don't have the answers to your questions, but I just have to say that your wheel, tire, fender flare setup is exactly what I've been looking for. What is your offset on those wheels? Are those Bushwacker flares?
