I’m running 1.9” with no shim. Both fenders measure exactly 39.25”. No Lean.

To add shims your will have to completely remove and reinstall the coilover

Eddyline is the one! I was there mid summer back in 2015. I’d love to do way more of Colorado than I did. And I did a lot.

Great looking truck! Are you running stock upper control arms and if so, how did the alignment turn out with the 6112's set up high at 2.5"? If you're running aftermarket UCA's, what brand? Thanks

Running stock uppers. Alignment was fine. Slightly rubbed the cab mount prior to get an alignment but it clears it now.

Great thread. Appreciate all the sharing and knowledge.

Do any of these 6112 configurations still allow for garaging (assume stock wheels and 275/65/18)?

I'm set at 1.9" with one shim on driver's side and 275/70 18 tires and have about 1.5" of clearance to spare for the garage door at my house and can get through the vast majority public parking garages.

Thanks for the reply. Is that from your roof or shark fin?

Watch your shark fin antenna, there was a thread not long ago about a guy who bought a 20 and couldn't get in the garage because of it.

Fresh bath this weekend. I park mine in my garage and my antenna drags but I'm clearing the roof of the truck no problem

I'm at 2.5" with 1" in the rear.

thanks! I’m running stock UCAs. Below is my alignment specs. Everything looks to be green but I’m about 14k miles into my setup and I’m seeing very slight wear on the outside of my tire compared to the inside. :( I rotate every 5k with oil change to try and even them out.

Because I don’t see myself getting rid of the truck I think I’ll eventually get the SPC UCAs. I’ve seen a lot of positive feedback and they’re maintenance free.

Thank you so much for the alignment chart! You and several others that I've asked who are running stock UCA's with the top setting on the 6112's are saying that good alignment can be achieved without going to aftermarket UCA's. I just ordered some 6112's at the 2.5" setting but started getting concerned about alignment and the potential for spending another $600 on new UCA's. Thanks again for your feedback.

I’m getting consistent rebound in the front on streets and highways with my 6112 Coilovers. It’s like driving on a fine washboard road. Not sure what’s going on. I have had all tires rebalanced and I did not resolve the issue. Any ideas?

1.3” setting, 275/70-18 tires. Just put coachbuilder +1 on the rear. 1x shim on the drivers side.

It sat level at 1.3” with no shackles. I do tow so bringing the rear up a bit was a must. I had to redo the drivers side to add the shim. I couldn’t believe it, but had almost .75” lower on ds measurements, now I’m about .2” lower. Very pleased with how it sits now.

That's a nice setup. Less is more and it works. What tires do you have?

Thank you, I absolutely agree. I’m boring and run BFG AT’s. I must have owned 7-8 sets on 5 different vehicles by now, and they’ve never let me down.

Has anyone used or have thoughts on this swaybar shim kit to go with lifting the front end? Seams like a reasonable thing to do when lifting 2.5"-3" using 6112's. Boss Offroad has it for $40 and helps with getting the swaybar back into proper alignment. Thoughts???
