I put the 6112s at top and I measured all around and was 7/8” higher in front. Added 1.5” to the back. To put it where I like it. You’re truck looks good.

How are you liking your tire/wheel size setup? I’ll be looking to do something like that.
My wife’s 4runner has G2’s and they’ve been great. 30k mikes on them.

The thing rides Awsome. It’s aggressive enough looking. I commute 50+ miles a day so I needed something that rides fairly nice. These are Awsome. The wheels are just the stockers that came on the SX. I believe they’re the same style as the 15+ pro model. I just added the trd cap to match. Love the whole thing.

One more question. Do you have a pic from the front or back? I am curious how far the wheels stick out?

I just came across your post, Id love to go over your install along with measurements to see why you're not sitting correctly. Have you added weight anywhere on the truck?

6112’s top setting 2 shims on drivers side, one shim on passenger side. 5160’s in the rear with 1.5 AAL pack. Spc UCA, 1.25 spider trax wheel spacers, and 285/65/20 on platinum wheels. Removed front mud flaps and still rub at full lock, ordered .5 bumper shims and then I should be good to go.

They look like Nitto RGs with the less aggressive side mounted out. They look great.

Very nice! I thought that is what you were running. I am debating about 275/65/20 or 285/65/20 Nitto RG once I get the 6112/5160 on.

    Looks good!

Thank you, my bumper shims are coming today I’ll update you on if they still rub at full lock. Incase that plays a factor in your decision.

Is the top setting borderline too much preload on the spring?

UPDATE: I just installed bumper shims, no rub with 285/65/20 now. Bumper shims and front mud flap delete was necessary.

6112s come with a spring designed to be used with the shock. You will get a slightly more firm ride as you increase height level but it is still a more compliant ride even at top setting than stock shocks are

I’m wanting 3” of lift to run 35’s but do not want the ride to be harsh. Will I notice a difference in ride quality with a 1.9” setting with CB 1” & .5” shim on driver and a 1” on the passenger VS a 2.5” setting with CB 1” shim on driver & .5” shim on passenger?

you can’t put 1.5” of shims on the front. You’ll run out of thread to actually bolt the assembly up. Just go top notch with 2 shims driver, 1 passenger.

So this happened about a month ago. 6112's @ 1.9 with 5160's in the rear. No shims up front as of yet, but will be adding one to the drivers side. Staying with the stock TRD OR wheels for now and will be moving to gunmetal Ray 10's next summer, all sitting on 275/70R18 Falken Wildpeak AT'3. The only rubbing I had was on the stock skid, and after a little bit of bending up the corners no more rub. I waited to post to see after a month of driving how I felt with this setup. My initial reaction was I absolutely love this setup and my current feeling is still the same, and I highly doubt it will change. Especially after the fair amount of snowfall we had. The Falken tires handled like a beast!! Only question I have for those running this is what setting do you put your headlight adjuster on? I currently have it on 3 and I still feel like I am blinding the cars in front of me and oncoming traffic.

sitting at 1.9. Headlights on 0. Never touched them after lift and have never had an issue.

Finally ordered my wheels. Now just waiting until Christmas for my Camburg UCAs. Hopefully with the lift, shims and shackles I won't have to do too much cutting. I also will have installed the CB front bumper shims and bump stop. Worried about how much rubbing there will be, but we shall see. Wheels and tires will be 35x12.50R18 with +6 offset on the wheels.

Since it seems that shackles are perceived as a "cheap but acceptable" option for rear lifts, what are the negative side effects of using them?

At a +6 you will need a Body Mont Chop (BMC). At ) offset I needed to do an aggressive BMC.
