My truck is going in the shop tomorrow for the 6112/5160 installation but I am still unsure of what settings i should go with.

Option 1) 6112 at he top setting and toytec shackle at the 1.5" setting
Option 2) 6112 at the 1.9" setting and shackle at 1"

I would like to keep the proper rake for towing, bed weight, and tss sensor.

Anyone have any pics of either setup or preference towards one or the other?

If I was to do it again I would go with the 1.9 setting I went with 2.5 and a shim

Both of those settings will still have a rake. You could go either way. I would go with option 1.

I have CB +2 in the rear and seems to have a minor nose lift and also little to stiff

Mine is set at the top setting + 1/4" CB shim to get 3" front lift. For some reason, I don't have a lean visually. My rear is set at 1.5" via Toytec shackles. I did stuff it with 37x12.5 tires.

Sorry still no real photos just a couple point and shoot which I hate. I still don't have new measurements either I am failing royal. Life has been crazy the last 4 weeks. but here are a couple. No issues with any sensors, my lane departure works fine, my cruise control and vehicle sensors work. The truck works as if it was never touched.

    @Toytec Lifts
    Got my 6112/5160 installed today
    1.9 up front
Toytec 1” shackle in the rear
    BFG 275/70

Love the stance and drivability this far. Would highly recommend Toytec for parts and install.

    What wheels are these exactly?
How did the tires effect the drivability and the mpg’s?

I’m getting about 11mpg now and they drive great. Smooth all the way to 100mph that I know of and quieter than stock.

You may not know, seeing as they were on the truck when you bought it, but what would airbag install cost? And how does that work? You have a switch to inflate the airbags in the cab?

No idea on cost but looks to be a reasonable weekend afternoon DIY (could be wrong on that!).

Mine has a valve for each side that pop out near my license plate. I have a compressor in my garage as well as my work trailer which is the primary thing I tow so air is always close at hand.

All I’ve done is take off the front aero flaps, they rubbed pretty good on those but only in reverse. Tires rub a just a tiny bit on my mud flaps in reverse still, but They are Duraflap (DIY) that I put on myself. I don’t even think they would rub on stock mud guards

I’m still rocking the 6112 front and 5160 rear combo! 305/65R18 BFG KO2s no issues.

I just installed some MCM UCAs.

My question is am I getting the max travel I can or are the 6112s limiting my setup in the front?

Thanks a lot. Took a while to get everything together and did a ton of reading. I picked what I liked on some trucks and parts off others to come up with what I got. I honestly couldn't be happier. Almost went with a 295/70 but at the last min was like f that I'm going a real 35 and everything just worked out.

6112s at 1.9 with 1 Boss shim on driver’s side, stock rear. Next up will be 275/70R18 Cooper S/T Maxx on the OR wheels. Eventually I’ll add 1.5” leafs and 5160s. I’m digging the ride on the front, firmer and more controlled like I keep hearing.B7073193-6B8B-4F6D-8F13-18ADA37A4AD4.jpgC61B1D36-DF9F-4F0E-AECF-D9474011EB5A.jpg

Got my 6112 done yesterday. Top setting, stock tires, wheels (for now). Has about .25” reverse rake. It doesn’t bother me. I’ll add bags soon. I’m stoked on the look and love the ride, soaks up everything much better and feels solid.

I’ll be installing the 5160 today.
Thanks Tundra forum the advice on this setup.
